Last week, the GEDC team came together in Chicago for #ACEP26.
This year, we gathered with one goal: talking about the future of geriatric emergency care and how we can help emergency departments deliver better care for older adults.
We left energized. The conversations with colleagues and partners reminded us how much momentum there is behind age-friendly emergency care, and how much work is still ahead.
A special congrats to @clshenvi for being awarded the 2026 Judith Tintinalli Outstanding Contribution to Education Award from the American College of Emergency Physicians!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared ideas, and pushed our thinking forward. We're bringing it all home and getting to work.
