So i got observed today and it went better than I had ever expected. I got praised from my principal, dean of instruction and the third party appraiser... @HoustonISD made me feel like a shit teacher and since I have been gone, I have received nothing but praise.

People will disagree with you on stuff and thatโs fine. Thatโs something we can debate and convince each other on. Humility is a virtue that forges the strongest ideas.
But rememberโฆ free thinkers are not a monolith and unless we want to become like the left with their endless purity spiralsโฆ we have to form coalitions on the battlefield.
Wars are won through people sharing common causeโฆ and isolating ourselves will only make it easier to conquer us.
Donโt let the people who disagree with you on 20% of things distract you from the people who disagree with you on 100% of things.
Basicallyโฆ discourse strengthens our ideas, but the majority of our energy should be spent on the enemy in front of us that literally wants us dead, our women raped and children brainwashed while they laugh at it.

sure. its a path from more innocuous things that are subtle with their reactionary content or are reactionary adjacent that eventually ends with the alt-right. Typically it starts with things like a collaboration between what you usually consume and something or someone that is privately reactionary.
Back in the day this started with anti-feminism, but nowadays its things like being anti-sex work, being anti-DEI, or being anti-immigration. From there you get exposed to other anti-woke ideas, and this usually ends with white nationalism, but usually bigotries are intersectional, ie they probably also become homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, etc.
For instance, say you watch an atheist youtuber that makes atheist content. The atheist collabs with another atheist, and the other atheist is slightly islamophobic, but they portray it in a "logical way" that makes it not seem so bad. They collaborate with increasingly more islamophobic atheists, until they bring on someone whose bigotry is not limited to being islamophobic.
Instead of actually listening to the presenter for PD, im thinking should I get twitter blue for a while

Look im tired of waiting for reboot and remake. @totalwar its time to go back and revist games that havent had an upgrade. Fantasy is great but come on YouTube got Napoleon and Empire total war sitting on the shelf not being even touched.
