Who is staking to DFDV validator you may ask? Almost all of their stake comes from their own LST - dfdvSOL
What is even more interesting is that almost all of that comes from a DFDV-managed multisig multiplying 75k SOL at ~11.5x multi on Jupiter Lend, getting them to well over 1 million SOL directed to their own validator.
Why Jupiter even added support for dfdvSOL in the first place is beyond me.

Current state of Solana governance (SGP & SIMD) - Monday Aug 17 2026.
We've seen a bit of confusion on governance and not a lot of discussion so we will be making an effort to bring clarity and encourage conversation.
This is the first run of the new SGP process. SGP-0001 sets the rules for the process but, confusingly, is also being considered concurrently with two more proposals. Don't ask me what happens to the others if SGP-0001 doesn't pass. I don't want to think about it. 😅
The first "vote" that requires 15% of stake is a signal of if it should proceed, not if it should be implemented. After that there is a review period, and the full vote.
One of the most important parts of the change is that stakers have an onchain way of directly voting differently then their validators. This is done during the voting period at the below dashboard.
