A police dog successfully located a missing elderly woman in Sugarmill Woods, Florida. The woman, who suffers from dementia, had been missing for approximately two hours when the search began.
The search utilized a scent kit that the woman had prepared two years prior. This kit contained her scent, which allowed K9 Ally to track her effectively.
The police dog found the woman within five minutes of starting the search. She was safely returned home, and as a reward for her efforts, K9 Ally received a vanilla ice cream cone.
