The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. Iranian media report that indirect Iran US talks are still ongoing through mediators, despite Washington’s reported rejection of Tehran’s latest ceasefire proposal. Qatar is said to remain actively engaged in trying to narrow the gaps between the two sides.
- Meanwhile, Iranian channels citing The Guardian say FM Abbas Araghchi plans to remain in New York until Sunday, September 27 (tbc).
The diplomatic channel, in other words, remains open, even as the gap between the two sides remains significant.
