I am the admin of two public energy investing message boards (doomonyou at both). Due to a serious hacking attack the older board ( investorvillage.com/Groups.a…… ) is not publicly viewable and is not free to join like it used to be. It is working normally however at this time if you were a member you are still. I have setup a new public board, fully moderated, to discuss energy and metals investing at X communities at nitter.cf/i/communities/19512553… with many of the same people there and that one is free to join and publicly viewable without consideration.
For now the Investorvillage board is much busier and has recovered somewhat to its old volume of posts. But both boards will be maintained in case Investorvillage has future problems, as I am not clear on the new pay-only business model works long term. Better to be prepared.

BREAKING: Trump confirms the US carried out strikes on Iran's Qeshm Island tonight.
"I don't want to talk about it. We do minor strikes, but they built a little bit of an anti-aircraft device and we knocked it out in about 15 minutes, maybe five," Trump told reporters minutes ago.

BREAKING: Global crude oil in transit is up to 1.28 billion barrels, an all-time high.
This figure has surged +180 million barrels over the last several weeks.
This comes as Middle Eastern oil flows recover through the Strait of Hormuz and alternative routes, while more crude remains at sea for longer.
Ship-to-ship transfers are keeping oil aboard tankers for longer, while extended shipping routes are increasing transit times.
Meanwhile, global oil importers diversifying away from the Middle East are lengthening voyages, leaving more crude tied up aboard tankers.
As a result, more oil remains in transit rather than being readily available to refiners, tightening near-term supply despite recovering export flows.
Oil is flowing, but timely delivery is becoming the bottleneck.

So they initially sought more than $30B at $1.4T valuation. Then that came down to $20B at $1.25T valuation
Now they managed to get it partially done, raising only $11B with the remaining $9B, "expected to be completed in the coming weeks"
