For anyone confused, here's a sketch about it
kinda reminds me of how if you think about it for more than two seconds you realize that the entire economic system we live in was built around slavery and has been scrambling for slavery-replacement for like 150 years

Study after study showing evidence of brain damage in children following MILD COVID infections, yet ppl continue to ignore it simply because they don’t want to deal with it and don’t want to know. Kids never consented to accept this risk.
Multimodal MRI: COVID19 effects on pediatric brain: alterations in cortical metrics, structural covariance networks (SCNs) based on Local Gyrification Index (LGI) in children with mild COVID19,with changes in non-invasive MRI proxies- glymphatic function. nature.com/articles/s41598-0…

Something about this virus truly makes you walk through life as a numbskull. And sometimes I wonder whether that’s not merely a side effect, but the virus’s entire business model. Not that it literally makes you a dimwit. More like: “Hey Spikey… hear me out. What if, once we infect them, we make them feel an absolutely irresistible need to be around other humans? Sore throat? Go to dinner. Coughing? Better hit Costco. Fever? Sounds like a great day for a children’s birthday party. Actively hacking up a lung? Lean in closer so everyone can hear the story. And whatever you do, DO NOT stay home. Find people. Gather. Carpool. Hug. Talk loudly in a poorly ventilated room. Get six inches from somebody’s face and explain that you’re ‘probably not contagious anymore.’ Maybe take a flight.” Spikey slowly removes his glasses. “My God. We don’t even need to become more transmissible. We just need them to become more social when they’re sick.” And that, my friends, is how a respiratory virus becomes a marketing genius.

Do people not know that COVlD promotes cardiovascular events, personality changes, and geopolitical instability?
1. John Fetterman's problems are due to none other than John Fetterman. He campaigned in 2022 as the anti-moderate. He promised to be a reliable 51st vote. He mocked centrists for their mealymouthed excuses for caving to the Republicans.

relentless systems that equate human worth to labor output are the problem, NOT disabled people. viewing people thru a lens of economic output is inherently dehumanizing, so of course bog hag @kafkaswife sees disabled people as subhuman liars who play hooky for online clout.
i'm not too disabled to whoop this author's ass. disability HAS been on an upward trend since 2020... because a mass disabling virus has run amok for years. disabled people aren't the problem. it's entitled bullies who deem us unworthy of existing proudly. gfy @kafkaswife!

Americans “do not have a constitutional right to truthful information during a public health crisis,” & this has been the case since 2022, when the Biden administration nuked all the Covid funding & data. Welcome to the Hell we created. Enjoy. motherjones.com/politics/202…

When you tell someone that Covid affects the brain and they agree 100% and say "I see it all around me, it's so noticeable, adults and kids" and THEY STILL REFUSE TO MASK. I have to ask myself: what is the point of ANYTHING?

'A cohort of young people – somewhat cruelly dubbed “sickfluencers” – want to tell you about their conditions and convince you they are real. 'But, were they not decked out in the accessories of their disease, it would be impossible to perceive the conditions they consider to be so central to their interaction with the world' ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/09…

Every August and September since 2020 the same movie plays again. Kids go back to school. Adults start dropping. Everybody swears it is not Covid because the rapid test stick stays white. Meanwhile, this guy in the video is in Texas where the Covid wastewater remains in the “very high” bracket. The tests have never caught the whole wave. They still don’t. The Covid tests are a failure. Why is nobody advocating for better tests?

p.s. shout out to wellspring pharmacy for actually practicing disease prevention in this “during covid” part deux as the covid forgetters might call it. *their door signs aren’t vestiges of the “we keep us safe” blip. praxis over theatrics.

that’s it! “premeditated ignorance” is what so many folks are suffering from on so many fronts, from the climate crisis, multiple genocides taking place in the global south (i.e. tigray, congo, west papua, kanaky, sudan), to the ongoing covid pandemic & others fast approaching.

I don’t understand how some pwLC are able to make abstraction of the fact that we are still in a disabling pandemic. The virus that disabled you is SarsCov2, it’s still circulating, catching it again is likely to make you worse. This is an emergency!

fatphobia isn't just hatred / discrimination of fat people it's the pit in your stomach when you have to shop up a size it's dreading photos bc the "wrong" angle might portray you as too human fatphobia is a steep slope with cumulative damage and we must unpack it in ourselves
the fatphobia convo usually stops short of destigmatizing fatness. "i got called fat but i'm not fat" ...ok...? but what if you were? what then? instead of self-soothing with "but i'm not fat," the realization needs to be that FATNESS IS NORMAL AND NOT A MORAL FAILING.

Update- I'm STILL struggling with this. Meanwhile, I started my last year of grad school full time, working full time, and completing an internship of approx 17 hours/week. I NEED MY MEDICATION, I AM STRUGGLING IMMENSELY.
I just want to say a big FUCK YOU to @Optum @UHC for no longer covering the name brand Adderall. The generics are NOT THE SAME. I have severe ADHD & am in grad school full time, working full time, & completing an internship that's an additional ~16-18 hours. /1

Covid realists- how would you respond to someone arguing that they can't implement respirators / masks for clients (at a behavioral health center) because hospitals don't require them?
