If you only do one thing today check to see if your toilet is leaking💦 You could be wasting up to 400 litres of water a day!💧💰
Just before💤, pop a bit of tissue at the back of the 🚽 pan - check in the morning. If its wet, or washed away - you may have a #LeakyLoo!👩🏼🔧
If you have a leaky loo you could be wasting up to 400 litres of water a day – talk to a @WatersafeUK #plumber if you need help getting it sorted: bit.ly/2DhlsfS

#EarthOvershootDay is not the same in every country. In the UK we surpassed our Overshoot Day on 17 May. That means if the world’s population used resources at the pace of the UK we would have taken more from nature than it can renew in a whole year in just 136 days.

Having a cool shower to cool down in the #UKHeatwave? Taking shorter showers (aim for four minutes per day) can save you up to 17 litres of water per day. For more water savings tips see eswater.co.uk/your-home/savi… #watertips #waterwise

If every household in the #UK got a standard water butt this would save about 30,000 million litres of #water each #summer! Great tip from our friends @Waterwise socsi.in/bvMK1

During the #summer up to 70% of the tap water we use is for #gardening! If you can, invest in a water butt. The average roof in the UK collects enough water to fill 450 water butts a year – so your supply is unlikely to dry up socsi.in/Iv1P6
