Welcome Apes 🍌

It’s been over a week since Apefest and I still haven’t had the chance to post pics or talk about my experience. Irl has been incredibly intense and I wanted to give the post its due time and respect since it was one of the most amazing gifts that this beautiful and crazy web3 world has given me so far. I did have to take a sec to jump in here though, on my one-year anniversary of joining the BAYC, to show some love to the club that I’m so in awe of. ❤️ I’d admired BAYC for a long time, but seeing everyone’s ApeFest posts last year.. the happiness, friendships, and family vibes, was what finally pushed me to take the leap. I found a Mutant I absolutely loved, and the rest fell into place beautifully. When I bought my mutant on Oct 28th last year (like at 2:30am), I made a post about it and tagged @shadows_eth who is the reason why I bought my first NFT (DBC foREVer!!) and he was actually the first to like my post. That made me ridiculously happy and I went to bed that night knowing that something special had happened. Then @SeraStargirl tagged @WelcomeApes… and that’s when I truly felt the might and magic of this club. The welcome was beyond anything I’d imagined, and despite having fangirled the BAYC for a long time, it was beyond my expectations to see it and feel it first hand. And now, it’s been a year. A year of Spaces, conversations, endless laughs, and connections I never expected to find. And what can I say about Otherside? I don’t even know how to put into words what that place means to me. It’s truly become my home away from home. So many laughs, unforgettable moments, and friendships that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Then last week, everything came full circle. Last year’s ApeFest gave me FOMO and lit the fire in me to join the club and now here I was actually experiencing ApeFest!! At Beeple’s Studio!! Whaaaat?! Getting to meet so many OG’s and ppl super important to the club and also finally getting to hug and spend time IRL with people I’d grown so close to was truly surreal. It was everything I’d hoped for and more. It’s crazy to think that buying an NFT could lead to all of this. So many unexpected experiences, beautiful connections, and memories I’ll always treasure. To everyone who’s been part of this journey, thank you for the love, the laughs, and for making this community feel like home. I feel incredibly lucky to have met you, and I hope we have many more adventures ahead of us. BAYC FOR LIFE! ♥️🍌
