We need to wake up. This *is* democracy. Democracy is a selection method of who should rule, not a set of morals of how they should rule. It self-selects for the most ambitious, manipulative, and unscrupulous people in a country, and entrusts them to uphold decency. It then legitimizes itself via the support of the most easily fooled, and tyrannizes the rest.

To-day’s feast of St. Elesbaan, Emperor of Ethiopia, cannot help but remind me of that last vestige of Christian Empire (web.archive.org/web/20060111…). I remember when the Emperor was overthrown in 1974 and murdered the following year. It was the last blow against Sanctum Imperium.

None of our leaders will address nor accept this idea that being part of a nation is something you inherit from your ancestors. We are born into a people, we do not choose it. That means full integration would require literally marrying into our people.
“Integration”, as imagined by our ruling class, is a myth.
You cannot “become” English. Possession of citizenship and belief in "our values" does not make you part of our nation. Membership is inherited, not chosen or acquired.
The only way to join a nation outside of birthright - as with a family - is through marriage. Anything less is an administrative fiction.
Under a Restore Britain government, the law will reflect this reality.
Human Nature Does Not Change!
That is one of the biggest intellectual failures of leftists, liberals, and progressives: they believe humans can fundamentally transform.
They cannot and will not. This fact will remain true for all time, and that is what leftists hate most.
Communists are against ALL tyranny and oppression, unless of course they are the ones doing it.

Considering the sorry state of Brazil, we'd like to remind everyone that it once was a veritable empire. There's always the option to return to glory.
This is why I prefer the terms deputy or delegate rather than representative.
Both words mean that you appoint someone to act on your behalf and it does not imply in any way that they should or do “resemble” you.
House of Deputies, House of Delegates, an interesting thought.
The term "representative," in its political sense, is interesting because it implies that the leadership of a nation resembles the people. If we accept that democracy works as advertised, this means, statistically and on a long enough timescale, leadership eventually regresses to the mean, and the most powerful people in a nation are merely average.
