There’s no Young Pope or New Pope on this list? Unserious.

Kansas is in play.
It cannot be overstated how culturally significant Anakin poasting is. I dont think you could engineer a better anti-progressive memetic virus in lab if you tried.

Every state needs a lethal weapon or rush hour type dynamic for senators. It absolutely benefits them

I think it’s small potatoes compared to the watershed moment in Democratic politics when Kamala Harris lost to Trump in part due to many Democrats trying to hurt her, but hey, maybe my priorities are weird.
If, God forbid, Abdul loses, this will be a watershed moment in Democratic politics. The fire will rise. It's over. People will be radicalized against corporate, pro-Israel Dems. There will be a reckoning. If, when, he wins, it will be a watershed moment. And that reckoning will still come.

I just download as pdf or save as pdf?
I can’t believe we’re two months away from 2027 and the easiest way to save something as a PDF is still to lie to your computer and tell it you’re about to print it.

The intelligent, sober-minded, and conscientious criminal is a cliché at the heart of so many fun movies that I sometimes wonder if people realize it’s totally fake and in the real world crime is almost all dumb guys with poor impulse control. boxd.it/h6zc7X

Why are you such a piece of shit? Neera supports Abdul! She’s been quite explicit about it. The incessant need to dunk on Democrats who are actually helping out your guy is something else man.
I actually feed bad for Neera. Stevens properly screwed her over. Just three days ago!

one of the many ways Obama is remarkable is that everyone lauds him as an amazing orator, world class, historical even, but literally no one can remember a single phrase from any of his speeches. a world class orator who has never once uttered a memorable phrase. truly in a class of his own.

Elites, even ones who think they’re good, lose the plot- people like this help Republicans and hurt poor people in the name of “holding Dems accountable” meanwhile they’ll be fine regardless. This guy got so weird.
I argue for a living. I just did three long interviews with Neera Tanden, Matthew Yglesias, and Sarah Longwell, all of whom have politics not dissimilar to your own, and they all criticized me just fine and there was no mention of racism by them or me. Why lie like this about me? Just because you don’t want to come on my show, or debate me anywhere other than quick Twitter dunks? And why mock the idea of racism when there is so much of it about right now? Strange.

Stevens has totally disgraced herself but I don’t understand the impulse to exaggerate the extent of “establshment” hostility to El-Sayed rather than tell people they should vote for the guy who Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, Elissa Slotkin, Gary Peters, etc are all endorsing.

Midterms arguably signal the end of not only the Trump era, but also the long 2016: • The Dem left agrees Obama was a good POTUS who faced real constraints and that median voter is mod; • The Dem mods agree to pursue class polarization and concede party’s prog establishment/seniority system is broken.

Yglesias is voting for LBJ in 1964 and you're staying home because you believe US cold war policy is committing mass genocide under LBJ. Not hard for him to win this argument on your terms.
“The Matthew Yglesias of 1963 would have been telling [JFK and LBJ] don’t touch this civil rights bill. It’s unpopular.” I thought this was one of the more fascinating and important exchanges with @mattyglesias, where I challenged him on how far politicians should defer to polls on huge moral issues, and he pushed back on my analogy.
