Bayern had:
• The 2026 Ballon d’ Or winner
• A 9th place Ballon d’ Or player
• Home field advantage
• Penalty called in favor
• A 2-1 lead with only 2 minutes to go
And yet they FAILED to win
I’d also blab to make myself feel better 🫵🤣

Some “fans” seem to forget that football isnt just about winning trophies and matches
Sometimes its simply about moments like that Silva goal yesterday, last minute equaliser against title contenders.
Maybe football simply isnt for everyone.

gotta hand it to him man he really experimented Gadou at RB and benched our only proper RB to try out a completely new formation and tactic against BAYERN out of all teams and actually pulled it off.
Niko Kovac:
"We pressed Bayern much higher up the pitch using a back four. That meant we had an extra player in midfield. We did that really well in the first half. Of course, we had to keep up with the full-backs’ deep runs, as they kept getting in behind us. We managed that well, particularly in the first half. In the second half, Bayern put us under a lot of pressure – and, of course, you need a bit of luck in Munich. My team gave their all here for the full 90 minutes. In my view, the point is well deserved."

Fabio Silva:
"We’ve come here to win. That has to be our mindset this season. We’ve got a lot of quality in our team. And we know we’ve got a fantastic team this year. The lads who start, the lads who come off the bench: they always make an impact. And we’re trying to show that to everyone. My dad always told me that I have to ‘smell’ the ball in the box. And I was there to spot the second ball. I’m happy that I was able to help the team."

Ole Book:
"We kept at it and kept coming back. It was an exciting match, but the team’s performance gave me a good feeling throughout, from the very first minute right to the end. We lined up boldly and approached the game with a bold mindset. And the coaching team managed to catch the opposition a little off guard when we switched to a back four as planned after a few minutes. We had plenty of possession in the first half. That’s certainly a step forward in terms of our play. The fact that you have to weather a few storms in the second half, defend resolutely and sometimes rely on the post being there when you need it is all part of the game."
