Friends in CA 11: @Scott_Wiener has worked hard for us for years and proven himself in the best wayβ€”with results and integrity. Let’s vote him into Congress so he can keep up the good work. youtu.be/2KXYexMtul0?si=piNl…

Everyone who’s ever worked on climate
The AI warnings coming out in the last 24 hours are deadly serious. But any efforts to slow the pace of development & implement guardrails have to be global. It’s meaningless for the US to self-regulate when China continues advancing.

Hypothesis: tons of people, until this week, thought AI and ChatGPT were the same thing, and had never heard of Anthropic. Now they have, and it's the β€œsafe AI company.” Bet they’re seeing a big bump in consumer adoption from that, even above their already nuts growth rate.

I cannot wait until the White House changes hands and all of you ghouls switch back from "you're a traitor unless you bootlick so hard your tongue goes numb" to "the government asking any questions about my offshore fentanyl casino is vile tyranny and I will throw myself in the San Francisco Bay in protest", like werewolves at the last ray of the setting moon.

Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in tailspin – watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.

SF teacher's union isn't negotiating in good faith. Every day they delay costs the district ~$8M. Teachers need a better contract but the district has budget realities they'd be irresponsible to neglect. District has compromised, union needs to as well. sfchronicle.com/sf/article/t…

Death to early decision, death to legacy admissions! Colleges and Universities talk a big game about ethics, public service, etc, then run themselves like the Trump administration. Next they'll start issuing meme coins and selling NFTs and gilded sneakers. nytimes.com/2025/12/10/opini…

Donald Trump is way less popular than he wants you to believe. And you are significantly more powerful than he wants you to think.

ICE vehicles waste a whopping 80% of energy in their fuel. EVs are propelled by entirely different mechanisms. Energy enters the vehicle as electricity, which directly powers the drivetrain: EVs need not convert one form of energy to another resulting in much higher efficiency.

Got flooded with β€œgo back to your country” and β€œAmerica doesn’t need you” on my H-1B tweet. America is 4.1% of the world. Even if Americans were 10X more likely to be geniuses, 70% would still be born elsewhere. Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, and Sergey Brin weren’t born American.

This bums me out. Kids are the best thing there is and it's not political. Families are good for us all.
NEW: Progressives have a birth rate problem For all the talk of a general fall in births, the drop is overwhelmingly driven by people on the left having fewer kids. By ceding the topic of family and children to the right, progressives risk ushering in a more conservative world.
