Northwestern students with a message for the AP voters after this week. Currently up 45-14 on Ball State with just over 11 minutes to go.
NEW: Ryan Field announced today that they will be hosting the “Great Chicago Holiday Food Festival,” which will include holiday menus for each restaurant featured at the stadium. Admission is free, but food will be for sale at the hours below:

Call me crazy, I’m still picking the Wildcats to win.
Defense starving to prove people wrong, Fitz back at safety, students need to pack the place but they proved they can impact games vs Penn State and Marchiol isn’t totally unproven as a backup
This is obviously not ideal, but preparing for a situation like this is why Nicco Marchiol was brought in.

Told that a crucial surprise "no" vote from an ACC Athletic Director in an October meeting, without the knowledge of his MSOC head coach, dragged out the process. The committee was shocked.
Had that AD voted "yes", the proposal would have been automatically implemented.

Perfection from Peter! ⚽️👀
@NUMensSoccer takes a 3-1 win over No. 13 Wisconsin, thanks to Peter Riesz's hat trick!

QB Aidan Chiles is QUESTIONABLE against Iowa.
Wildcats likely to get S Robert Fitzgerald back, and DT Brendan Flakes is cleared, but the QB concerns drown that out

Northwestern QB Aidan Chiles is questionable for Saturday against Iowa.

Surprising addition to the injury report for Northwestern, as Aidan Chiles is questionable this week. No Fussell once again for the Wildcats.
Looks like they will be getting Rob Fitzgerald back this week though. Huge addition.
Northwestern women's basketball eked out a 64-60 win against Milwaukee last night in a sloppy game where neither team could pull away.

Alabama at 5 is one of the most stunning things I’ve ever seen. Forget about SEC bias. There’s like three SEC teams alone that should be ahead of them.
In no way should they be above Ole Miss or Texas.
Final: Northwestern 64, Milwaukee 60.
Lily Carmody led the way with 21 points for NU as the Wildcats recovered from a sluggish first half.
Both teams played sloppily early and caught fire late, but NU's hot streak just outlasted Milwaukee's.
Next: Thursday vs. Xavier
Northwestern gives up an 8-0 run in the last minute plus of the quarter, and they're down 18-15.
Sloppy, sloppy play. NU looks totally unprepared for Milwaukee's defense and keeps rushing passes that don't end well.

We have seen some terrible CFP rankings over the years, but this set is particularly insane and inconsistent.
On the scene tonight at Welsh-Ryan Arena as Northwestern enters the Carla Berube era. Sparse crowd tonight.
Starters:
Lexi Blue, Lily Carmody, Casey Harter, Camdyn Nelson, Jasmyn Cooper
Looks like no Walton sisters, Claire Keswick, Amparo Lopez or Romana Jelinic for the 'Cats

Well, the message is clear: The committee loves the SEC and hates everyone else.

Late repost, but earlier last week, I talked with early voters and residents in Loudoun County about how the issue of data centers impacted their vote. Loudoun County is known as the world’s data center capital.
Their answer? Not that much.

Loudoun County is the data center capital of the world. But for many voters here, issues like the economy, abortion and same-sex marriage take priority. By @Summer_Huu, @sophiabateman_, @_gracewuu, @mayaheyman and @Isabella_Kunc medillonthehill.medill.north…

JAKE WEST IS MORE THAN JUST A TIKTOK STAR 🌟
20 PTS | 12 AST | 5 REB | 6/9 FG
Most people know Jake West for his viral TikToks and 1.6 MILLION followers.
But tonight, in his first game as Northwestern’s new leader, he reminded everyone he’s a HOOPER.
And this means more than you think…
Coming out of HS, West admitted some colleges STOPPED recruiting him because they thought his social media following would be a distraction.
But he never stopped believing.
“All my life I’ve had that kind of chip on my shoulder to not only prove others wrong, but most importantly to just prove myself right.”
Tonight, he did exactly that.
The Jake West era at Northwestern is HERE. 🔥
