I think there's a quiet grief in realizing that becoming yourself might mean disappointing people who loved the version of you that never challenged anything. But you can't spend your whole life being easy to understand at the expense of being honest with yourself.

These tragedies are a stark reminder of the investment our government has in social services.

For people that sit online all day and bash the Democratic Party but don’t have no motion in their community, meaning they don’t have boots on the ground. Why yall do that? What point are you trying to prove?

God watched you stay kind when people were nasty and evil. He saw you forgive folks who never owned their wrongs, go above and beyond for people who wouldn't stand up for you, pray for those who betrayed you, and help people who hurt you. Nothing went unnoticed. The Bible says in Matthew 5:11, "Blessed are you." So don't question what's coming next. A well-earned harvest of blessings is on the way!

There will be days when hope feels far away and getting out of bed feels like an achievement. Do not be ashamed of those days. You are human, and you are allowed to struggle. Just remember that life can change in ways you cannot yet see. Give yourself another chance to experience better days.
I love a bad bxtch who can walk in some heels.

Everyone screaming Amber Alert in the comments.
Guys, there is specific criteria for an Amber Alert.
Maybe time to revisit said criteria?

I hope my parents know that even when I'm quiet, distant or occupied with figuring out my own life, I genuinely appreciate everything they've done for me.
