$SOXX is the first major tech ETF to take out July lows. One of the highest volume days came last Friday as well.
$QQQ will officially be in its third -10% correction if closes below $683.66 today. If it does, July FOMC lows are still plausible but that would be a clearing event worth buying heavily IMO.
It's so funny how the options selling gurus all go quiet when $QQQ corrects.
It's ok bro, you could show us the cash secured puts that are "down" -300% or the assignments you are about to take. It's all part of the game.
This is how your favorite options seller's average position looks right now.
For the record I'm happy to be assigned $NVDA at $200 but don't act like options selling is risk-free. It isn't. Especially if you sold more puts than you intended on getting assigned.
Between midterms and the end of the year there isn't a seasonal edge in stock returns.
From the beginning of November to New Year's stocks behave more or less the same whether in a midterm year or not.
The REAL edge shows up between November of a midterm year the next November. Returns are impressive with 100% hit rate for $SPY and near 100% for $QQQ.

You called the drop.. Only 10% away from 200 now.. Plus the puts you called out on Thursday saved my portfolio from a complete bloodbath! Appreciate you man.
Sounded crazy at the time but $APP is much closer to $200 now and I'm finally considering a position here as the fundamentals are excellent.
Although $APP is a beast fundamentally, if this doesn't turn into a quick liquidity sweep and rally out of it, don't discount a drop towards $200.
Sector sentiment matters more in the short term than fundamentals do.
Yes, I'm red today, but my main port is only down -0.45% thanks to the hedges I put in place, based on the same exact analysis I gave you here (read the Discord trade details below).
Being on X has made me a better trader over time because every thesis I might have is timestamped. I take pride in putting my analysis on the spot and moreover, I enjoy helping others while learning from others at the same time.
Anyway, a close at or below $683.71 on $QQQ puts us in correction territory.
Hang it in the Louvre. 🖼️
$QQQ is doing something extremely weird right now ahead of FOMC on Wednesday.
It has never left two FOMC lows in a row untouched. Currently we have September and July's FOMC lows intact (no FOMC in August).
I would not be surprised to take at least one out in the next week.
If $QQQ falls below $712 there is the possibility of an amplifying regime. With dealers positioned at $700 and $690, this would add fuel to a downward move if the Nasdaq does not reclaim the moving averages and break structure to the upside.
I want you to remember one thing in the midst of all the shitty feelings surrounding your portfolios: resets is how the market continues to go higher. Buying depressed stocks is how you build generational wealth.
That's it. Good night.
Still on the table as QQQ approaches $712

Can't believe $GOOGL
✅ Cloud accelerated
Revenue $30.7B, +103% YoY
Operating margin 36.2%, from 23.7%.
Backlog $561B, up $47B in one quarter.
❌ Free cash flow −$9.1B vs −$2.7B est. 😧
❌ EPS: $2.14 vs $2.99 est
($2.67 after adding back the $0.55 equity loss)
❌ Operating income: $40.6B vs $43.23B est
❌ Search $63.4B vs $64.99B est.
Management said AI Mode queries monetize below traditional search ads.
But Search is the profit engine, so a miss outweighs the Cloud beat.
Dug into Alphabet's earnings tonight. Can't sugar coat it, this print was absolute dog shit.
Yes, Cloud revenue was impressive. But...missed on YouTube revenue, search revenue, services revenue, subscriptions revenue, missed earnings, $0 buybacks, double the negative FCF of last quarter.
The market might excuse the occasional revenue/EPS miss. It will not excuse it when you are deliberately running FCF into the ground with nothing to show for it.
$GOOG is just a hold for me here. Needs to come down significantly for me to justify adding to it.
