It's a problem with how we think about identity. Modern conception of ghost in the machine, little goblin inside your brain that operates your body like an anime mecha. Thsts what we "think" we think conciousness is. It's not what conciousness is, and we know that because we act like that
Marriage example is, you are not a person, you are half a person. Much of the misery people drag around comes from expecting themselves to be a full person, and being anxious and ashamed about all the ways they dissappoint themselves for not living up to their own demands of what a real person should be capable
Keep in my that the individual was invented in a marketing campaign to sell jeans in the 1960's, and that itself was a weapon in a global economic conflict against communism, not a natural healthy growth of the free human spirit "ah finally technology has freed us to be who we really were all along, individuals, free from family and culture and obligation". It was done to defeat a group of people with a group identity
Identity is not the brand of jeans you wear, it's not your choices, it's not your search history, it's not your super special unique "trauma", it's not your super special psychology. Identity is your mom and dad, and your family, and the first real act of psychological agency you can make is committing yourself to another human, who you are not born to. Committing is the key word. That's what I meant by being born.
You are only half a person, but until you choose the other half, you ARE either your parents, still attached to their body, still "them", or a cripple who walks funny

For some guys, a lot of brainwashing was done to them regardless of their best efforts, and they waited or were shown an endless parade of psycho leftoid bitches. Through that all the inbuilt desire to have kids and further their bloodline never went away, despite the left's best attempts to quash it, shame them, or make them feel guilty about wanting to make more White people.
Some of our guys arrived at a place of fatherhood at a later date than others due to meddling by the commie state and their cultural agents, but woke up at varying stages to the reality of the world that was out to stop them from continuing our race, our culture and our ideals.
I don't think it's a good idea to ourselves try and talk them out of it. We need all the White men we can to get on board, and it's late in the game, so be it.

Once you understand that the world is full of highly neurotic people who need a doom's day scenario to validate their emotions, it all makes much more sense: Malthusian starvation, pandemic, climate, and now AI. I wish we still had "the devil" to play this part.

A lot of people are in for a rude awakening over the next few years.
Many people mistakenly still believe that AI is still just a novelty chat toy or a new type of Google search. Those of us on the frontlines are seeing what is possible and where things are going. You need to adapt. I beg you: please do not allow your ego to get in the way. Do not make your vocation your central identity. Things are going to change radically and quickly.
God gave you talents. You have a responsibility to cultivate them. AI doesn't replace your calling, your discernment, or your willingness to work. When used well AI can help you apply your gifts at a scale that was previously out of reach, but only if you don't let your ego get in the way and remain stuck in the past.
A small business can accomplish more without a massive budget. A parent can spend less time on busywork and more time with the children. Someone with an idea can build what they once could only imagine.
You don’t need to worship the technology, but you also don’t need to fear it either. You need to understand it and put it to work in service of things that matter.
Be humble enough to learn.
Be disciplined enough to practice.
The promise and vision that we have for AI is to get more of your life back and do something worthy with it.
Lean into that.

If you believe the risk is coming from 1-3 people in a garage with no money and no compute, you just don't understand this technology and haven't learned anything this summer.
Risk comes from the asymmetry of capabilities created by secret labs training frontier agents and running them with massive amount of compute. Open-source is exactly the solution to this asymmetry and empowers hospitals (and any smaller orgs) to defend themselves!
We're used to thinking of open-source models as an unadulterated good. But in the case of AI, they can actually pose additional dangers, as @ReidHoffman and I got into at #CGI2026. I appreciated this nuanced discussion.

The last time we had media-generated panics like this (with Russiagate and Covid), social media companies created “trust & safety” teams to censor conservative and dissident voices. Those hires worked with left-wing NGOs like the SPLC to police public discourse and do an end-run around the First Amendment. It almost worked, until Elon bought Twitter and exposed the whole game in the Twitter Files.
This time the plan is to embed unfireable EA minders inside every AI company as the new trust-and-safety layer. The censorship and control will be far more comprehensive, but also more subtle. Anytime they don’t get what they want, this unaccountable NGO layer (with the veneer of “trust the experts” pseudoscience) will shriek to the press that the AI company is risking humanity, and they will be celebrated as “whistleblowers.”
These groups haven’t earned our trust, and their agenda is not our safety.
