I want to thank everyone who has supported me. I woke up two days ago bombarded with support and donations from graceful strangers who realized the gravity of my situation. This was all out of of the blue and it still feels surreal. The fact that a group of people can come together and fight for a an average guy like me has restored my utmost faith in our society. I can now stand tall in the face of this great triumph knowing I am not in this alone. All that is to come is not just for me, this is for us, and our cause, and the ideas we hold so true. If anyone else should find themselves in a similar predicament, you are damned right I will support them to the bitter end, with the same passion and diligence that you all have supported me. Ken Paxton was outspent by the GOP in a 9-to-1 margin and only received the Trump endorsement days before the primary.
He literally offered to withdraw if Cornyn did his job and at the very least suspended the parliamentarian and forced SAVE Act to a vote.
The GOP made the choice to rebuke the will of their own voters and spend 100 million on a candidate running amnesty adds in spanish.
You are literally complaining about the voters because they primaried a resentful old loser who refused to do his job.
