Today is Navy Day! First celebrated on 27 October 1922, the observance brought ships, aircraft, and sailors into communities across the country to connect Americans with their Navy. The date honored Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday and his advocacy for American sea power.
But how did Navy Day begin—and who was really behind it? Historian Ryan Wadle explores the little-known partnership between Navy leaders and the Navy League that launched the nationwide celebration.

Politics won't save Colorado. Only Jesus can. One day, he will.
God is not anxious about Colorado, and neither should we be.
Until all have heard.

This isn't tax policy. This isn't zoning. When politics becomes theological, silence isn't neutrality. It's abdication.

“I believe it is one of the most important things in the Christian life when we find ourselves tripping in thought, word, or deed, to immediately fly to the fountain set open for sinners so that we may be cleansed and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Amen!
The Lord is exceedingly merciful, gracious, and kind in regenerating our hearts so that we can believe in Christ.
Being born again is like being given a fresh set of eyes to see Jesus for who He truly is and what He’s accomplished.
Regeneration precedes faith.
In this brief clip, @RCSproul explains this simple phrase that captures the essence of Reformed theology.
It’s a good day to remember that God initiated and accomplished our reconciliation to Himself through Christ. He did so because He desires for us to know Him, love Him, and enjoy fellowship with Him.
Happy 251st birthday to the United States Navy!🫡
