now that we’re here… why can’t streaming services just allow everyone to remix music without AI ? if the original artists can get paid for AI mashups, what’s preventing the industry from allowing actual musicians to release remixes?

Spotify is going to let users remix songs using AI but will charge an extra $4-$5 for the feature Original artists will be paid for the remixes according to the Financial Times

Almost a year old. GEMS 2 delayed till next year tho. I feel like this didn't get enough love tho cuz I switched entirely up , but its all great and my one of my favorites cuz it captures where i was at 2019 -2025. Its still growing.

I put my girls family to collard greens earlier this year made some for her mom and she was like "this is real food for your body" Its been great cooking for my extended family in MX. Rn im tryna figure out how to ship Maryland crabs here tho lol

Juan Atkins wasnt signed to a major and didn't make commercial music. There's no big capitalist machine invested in profiting from his posthumous career, so the accolades are going to come entirely from the literal millions who's lives were changed by his art- that's true legacy
