Nathan Fielder addresses his unconventional doc techniques in 'You Can See Everything' at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival's THR-moderated Docs to Watch panel: "This project’s different than the other ones, but I feel like the process of making it was just a process of including everything that needed to be included to make it as honest as possible." hollywoodreporter.com/movies…

Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

NEW: NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani has launched a new online tool to help New Yorkers keep their SNAP food assistance and Medicaid health coverage as new federal work requirements threaten access to benefits. According to the city, the Mamdani administration has already helped more than 220,000 New Yorkers at risk of losing SNAP, reducing projected benefit losses by 65%. Now, with approximately 900,000 New Yorkers at risk of losing Medicaid coverage under federal changes taking effect in 2027, the city is expanding its efforts. The new website helps residents identify exemptions, understand requirements, and access food, health care, and employment resources. New Yorkers can visit NYC.gov/workrules to learn more.

Elon Musk found us here. We’re indigenous to this land.
If people dislike Elon Musk so much, why do they still use the platform he owns?

If you want a documentary on Elisabeth Holmes with whistleblowers, investigators and journalists exploring the accusations against her. Alex Gibney made that film in 2019. Nathan and Lance made a film about a person preparing for prison and unable to admit why they’re going.

So many spectacular moments in YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING but I particularly loved giving Lance Oppenheim one line of on-screen dialogue to say “that’s not…a real documentary” about the Harry and Meagan Netflix show

“destroy the art of documentary filmmaking” …what are you even talking about…
Replying to @AkilahObviously
I cannot articulate why it feels fascist to destroy the art of documentary filmmaking. Another institution that kinda wasn’t a problem. Partially think it should’ve been a reality show??

why are people acting like Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder are the first to play with the perception of reality in a documentary
