In a bank, I only need a payslip to get a loan.
In a SACCO, if you need 600k loan, you will be required to first give the sacco 200k and thereafter go through out the village collecting signatures like someone who is initiating a referendum.
And I have never understood; I am in need of 600k, unaniambia niweke 200k kwako kwanza ili unipatie 600k......si hapo ni kumaanisha umenipatia 400k?
but ikifika ni interest, you calculate it based on 600k and not 400k and you want me to say SACCOs are good?
