A Black man averted a miscarriage of justice in the Lindsay Clancy case. Bravo 👏🏽 Take away race, gender etc the only thing that matters is that 3 kids were killed by their mother.
I repeat every case of postpartum depression/ psychosis that results in the murder of a human being must be assessed in the totality of the circumstances. I get why this Black juror didn’t think Lindsay Clancy was insane when she killed her kids.
Before you come at me with the system failed her, her husband failed her etc - you wouldn’t excuse serial killers with those positions so even if all that were true it doesn’t make her insane or absolve her of criminal responsibility.
