This feature was so niche I didn’t announce it, but it’s one I really wanted. You can now customize the “snooze” time options as you please 🫡
Very helpful for those of us with weird sleep schedules
👏 brilliant work by @theo and team on t3 code
- i didn't like the default snooze options, checked the settings and found out i can make my own
- it even flags when two options land on the same time or one has already passed for today.

i've been using @cap for screen recordings, it's got a generous free plan
but it also allows self-hosting and using your own storage
so now you can send "loom" style videos hosted on your own site / database
plus @richiemcilroy has a coupon code HALLOWEEN30 for 30% off for life, which i subbed to right away
not sponsored, just a happy user. my link:

So exciting. @Cap now has some of the fastest video infra on the planet.
This is all gearing up towards us launching our own B2B offering. Think sandboxes, but for video. On demand usage for lightning fast processing, transcription, etc.
If this interests you... DM me 🫡 working with a few partners closely first before releasing.
Replying to @orcdev
Was thinking about this today, the nNarratives we've had in the last year...
CLI is dead
MCP is dead
MCP is king
CLI is king
Swarms are king
SaaS is dead
Dashboards are dead
Most people ranting these takes are either pushing an agenda in their favor or not worth the time of day.

Today, with our team of lawyers at the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja. These brilliant lawyers appeared free of any charges for the case against MTN Nigeria, Airtel Nigeria, Glo World, FCCPC, and DStv.
They were led by Ogbaga Ogba Immanuel. Before 8 AM this morning we were at the court to officially begin the case. Unfortunately, the court adjourned until 15th of November.
On the 18th, we will be there and we will continue to talk about what these telecoms are doing to Nigerians and also continue the legal challenges, until the relevant authorities put an end to the open fraud these big corporations are committing against Nigerians.
Our case is simple:
If I buy a 30-day data plan and use it heavily, the network tells me my data has been exhausted after just a few days. Their justification is simple: you’ve consumed everything you paid for.
Fair enough.
But if I use the same data sparingly and still have a balance on the 30th day, the remaining data suddenly expires. The justification now changes: your subscription has reached its validity period.
So which principle is actually governing the transaction?
If the argument is that I am being charged based on usage, then why should unused data expire at all? I haven’t consumed what I paid for.
If the argument is that I paid for 30 days of access, then why is the data allowed to run out before those 30 days are over? Shouldn’t I continue to have access until the agreed expiration date?
The industry appears to switch between two contradictory principles, depending on which one benefits the company at that particular moment.
-When heavy usage favors the network, they say: “You used it all.”
-When light usage favors the customer, they say: “Time is up.”
The customer loses under both systems.
This inconsistency becomes even more obvious when you compare it with airtime.
Your airtime does not disappear simply because 30 days have passed. It remains yours until you actually spend it. The network does not wake up one morning and confiscate your remaining airtime because a calendar date has arrived.
Why then should paid data be treated differently?
The principle should be consistent.
If a data bundle has a fixed expiration date, then the purchased volume should remain available until that date, regardless of how quickly or slowly it is used.
Conversely, if the network insists that data can be completely exhausted at any time based solely on consumption, then there is no logical basis for imposing an expiry date on any unused balance. Once I have paid for it, what I have not consumed should remain mine until I consume it.
You cannot simultaneously tell customers:
“Your data can finish before the validity period because usage matters,”
and then turn around and say,
“Your remaining data has expired because the validity period matters.”
Those are two different charging philosophies. Switching between them depending on which one increases company revenue is not a coherent billing principle — it is a contradiction.
The question is simple:
When consumers pay for data, are they buying a quantity of data, or are they buying time?
If the answer is data, then unused data should never expire.
If the answer is time, then the purchased data should remain available throughout that entire period, regardless of consumption patterns.
The current system attempts to have it both ways, and in every scenario, the consumer bears the loss.
And this is why we have gone to court.
In South Africa right now, the regulator ICASA has ordered MTN and Vodacom to stop letting data expire.
New rules say unused data, voice and SMS must roll over automatically, at no extra cost, once the bundle's time is up.
MTN and Vodacom did not comply quietly. They took ICASA to court to try to block it. They are facing fines of about R5 million each for non compliance. That's about N410 Million.
That is the real story. A regulator with teeth forcing

If I wasn't building @Cap, I don't know if I'd still be in software
I think there's a generational opportunity in hardware right now, and the next wave of great companies will be built in industries that AI has barely touched

Transparency here:
I don't think we're gonna make much money on this. Literally just trying to give people more tunnels without going bankrupt and/or standing up Yet Another Pile Of Payment Infrastructure™
This gives you more T3 Connect tunnels now. Don't overthink it.

Going through editing my articles for 2027 for @phparch - so far so good! Got @wendell_adriel giving them a read through for me too, because a second set of human eyes is helpful

This was a fun one.
Over the last few days or so I've been moving @Cap's media processing to our own in-house GPU farm... these results are still early and they already speak for themselves! Interested to see how fast we can optimise it further.
Our setup is scaleable. As demand increases we just add more GPU's. Really cool and very proud of this :)

I am saddened by the death of Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka, whose passing adds to the growing concern over the disturbing attacks and killings of religious scholars and other innocent citizens by gunmen in our society.
The persistent targeting of religious scholars is particularly troubling, given their vital role in promoting Islamic teachings, moral values, peaceful coexistence, and the spiritual development of our communities.
I strongly condemn the senseless violence against citizens. The continued loss of lives to insecurity is unacceptable and underscores the urgent need for decisive action to protect our people, bring the perpetrators to justice, and restore peace and security across the country.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, students, associates, and the entire Muslim community over this loss. - RMK

Just look at this thread. Look at how many people are recommending @Cap.
What an incredible feeling.
v0.6.2 out later! It's a big one.
CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS. ENOUGH OF THE HARASSMENT OF MY SUPPORTERS. RELEASE RILWAN OLAWALE NOW.
The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable.
President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence.
Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion.
We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK.
I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawale’s arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice.
We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights.
A New Nigeria is POssible and will be OK. -PO
