How does LLM inference work, at scale? I have started a small video series discussing and explaining how inference works serving millions of tokens all at once. This is the intro video! Tell me what I can improve!

Hey everyone! 👋 Actually, I had a situation recently where I couldn't use my right hand properly for a while. But we can't stop our learning, right? 😅 I thought I'll invest this time in revising and learning system design. The problem was, I couldn't really write with my left hand the way I wanted to. I like learning visually, I like drawing diagrams and seeing how things connect, and I was struggling to do that. So I thought I'll try building something for myself. That's how I started working on Lucid. It's an open-source productivity and accessibility tool that uses local AI to help turn your thoughts into structured notes, diagrams, and tables. The idea is simple: you should be able to speak your thoughts, see them turn into something useful on the screen, and edit them without having to do everything manually. I'm trying this out for system design as well. Imagine talking through a system and seeing your ideas turn into diagrams and notes. That's the kind of workflow I want to make easier. It's still a work in progress, and I'm using a separate dictation app for voice input right now. But I thought it was a cool thing to build, and it might help others too, so sharing it here. 🙂 Youtube: youtu.be/AwlJ8LJbfw4 GitHub: github.com/triggeredcode/luc… Would love to know what you think! #Accessibility #Productivity #LocalAI #OpenSource #VoiceAI #SystemDesign

Hey guys 👋 Been playing around with @typesafeai #Jev lately and had this thought: Jev can make really fast typed decisions, but we still have to figure out the questions, thresholds, branches and the whole decision flow around it. So… what if we could compile that too? I ended up building Jev Compiler 🧩 Give it a decision policy → it generates examples + edge cases, builds a Jev workflow, tests it, finds weak spots, and tries to improve the questions + thresholds + decision graph. Still early, but this was really fun to build and explore :) Open sourced it 👇 github.com/triggeredcode/jev…

Introducing Keep! Beautiful, living sky on the desktop. Quiet, and built for a Mac you already use. It is a macOS menu bar agent. Local light, live weather, the next Calendar event, one intention for the day. Looking up should still feel like looking outside.

The wallpaper is the thing you live in all day. Most Macs still freeze that to a still photo. I will fix that ASAP!
seeing my remaining usage right from my dock is so nice
