Full circle day today getting to call a top 10 matchup featuring the school I go to and the school my family attended and I grew up supporting. Just incredibly thankful and blessed for these opportunities, crazy how life works sometimes.

Trust me ESPN, if I’m watching South Alabama-Marshall on a Tuesday night, you don’t need to promote this Saturday’s games for me. I know that they’re happening.

10/8/26 - @MSU_wsoccer defeated @GopherSports 4-0 in large part due to the play of @kennedy_bell26. A brace + assist for her. Can’t go without mentioning the play by Kayla Briggs + Emerson Sargeant. Beauty of a pass, header into the net to kick things off. Always a pleasure to call matches at DeMartin. @_btroy & @LyricPSloan 🎙️

Briggs sets this one up right across the goal mouth, and Sargeant heads it into the back of the net. 1-0 MSU!
Fun bit in yesterday’s Women’s Soccer broadcast on B1G+ with @jackvohwinkle, featuring a hidden talent of mine with the Rubik’s Cube live on-air! Check it out! ⬇️

Brandon Troy. Learn the name.
One of the best announcers I’ve ever heard call a game. If you’re not watching MSU women’s soccer on Big Ten Plus, get over there.
See you in the booth with Joe Buck soon young fella.

After 41 years in the Mariners broadcast booth, Rick Rizzs will be stepping away from the mic at the end of the 2026 season. We can't wait to celebrate Rick during his final year on the call.
