On Saturday at the @LifePointeGL Free Medical Outreach, I witnessed the life-saving power of preventive care.
One beneficiary came in with dangerously high blood pressure, extremely elevated blood sugar, and other serious health concerns.
What happened next was remarkable.
One of our partners, CedarCare Hospital (@_cedarcare), had provided an ambulance as part of their support for the outreach. Their medical team responded immediately, transported her to their facility, placed her on oxygen, and began treatment without any discussion about money.
The focus was simple: save a life.
This is what healthcare should look like.
