🚨Sergio Ramos questions what Portugal are trying to prove without Ronaldo: 🗣️ Sergio Ramos: “Look at the way Portugal are playing now. It almost feels like they are trying to prove that Cristiano Ronaldo was the problem. I can see what they are trying to do. Look at the intensity, the pressing and the way they are fighting for every ball. They clearly want people to believe that the team has moved on and can perform without Cristiano. But we have seen this kind of situation before in football. One or two good performances don’t suddenly erase everything a player has contributed over the years. Cristiano has carried Portugal through countless important moments. The pressure is now on the players and the coaching staff to maintain this level consistently. Let’s see if this intensity remains when the biggest games arrive. Everyone is watching, and everyone will draw their own conclusions. For me, the story surrounding Cristiano is far from over.”

Soberbio e impresentable.

Whether you want to hear it or not, Bruno Fernandes performance tonight proves everything that was said about him during the World Cup😂😂😂 You intentionally decided to drop a stinker, and even during this nations league, he was still dropping stinkers😂 The first game that he was captained, he dropped two assists!😂 kept crossing the ball😂 BRUNO FERNANDES IS NOT A DECENT HUMAN BEING!!! I was still giving him the benefit of the doubt before, but nahhhhh, never again!😂

And yet he did not win ... How is the lesson still "learn Yoruba"
Replying to @saratu
This, btw, is why I rate Banky W. He had to learn Yoruba, got himself a tutor, studied and practiced. It's possible. Every language is learnable. For such a thoughtful, intelligent man, GRV's not making the effort is... not good, not to mention not savvy.

🚨🎙️Toni Kroos on Bruno Fernandes: "This match just showed that Bruno Fernandes has always been a problem for Portugal. His stupid decision to stop playing good football as a midfielder whenever Ronaldo is on the pitch has cost Portugal a lot. In today's game you could clearly see Bruno playing passes into the final third and even providing two assists but whenever Ronaldo was on the pitch, some how the passes are played to the Goal keeper (Laughs). At some point, you have to ask yourself why."

You are very heartless !!! I read all what you said and can’t believe it came out from your mouth even though you live in Canada Some of you just don’t want Nigerians to have a proper life just because you send 5k home so you can be worshiped I pray God heals your Dark Soul
Replying to @winexviv
You are not the only one living in Canada. And you are not only one knows who how Canada works. Telling people half story to show that Nigeria and the administration are bad is fraudulent. Canada is 159 years old and we have our issues and struggles. We didn’t arrive here by story like yours. Nigeria is 65 today and will be 66 tomorrow it has its history, issues and struggles. The average cost of a plate of food in a Nigerian restaurant in Greater Toronto Area is $33; which about N33,000. 1 kg of garri is about $8 which is about N8,000. I just sold 50 kg of garri in Nigeria for N11,000. A medium cup of Tim Horton coffee in Canada (one of the cheapest brand) is $2, that is N2,000. Does an average Nigerian buy a plate of food for N33,000, 1 Kg of garri for N8,000, a medium cup of coffee for N2,000? No. The minimum wage you refer to is Ontario and it’s based on productivity. What is the productivity in Nigeria and how do arrive it? You talk about free elementary and secondary school. Free is yes and no. We pay for the free education from the monthly or yearly as you choose property tax. Through the property tax we also pay for waste disposal, street lights and city roads maintenance. Do you state and LG in Nigeria organize for and do this because it’s their responsibility? We pay for the construction of the schools when builders are building in pre construction stage as education level, development level during purchase closing. You showed Nigeria that minimum wage bought your house. You are being economical with the truth. Minimum wage won’t pay the mortgage, property tax, electricity, gas and home insurance for that house you showed. It will take more than a minimum wage and a spouse’s (in one form or the other) income. In some cases a whole family puts their income together plus rent from tenants to be able to carry a mortgage and other costs. Minimum won’t even pay a studio condo in GTA. Your $98 fuel will not last you one week except you work your minimum wage from your house. We drive too. Did you tell your readers that you pay monthly mandatory vehicle insurance from ranging from $400-600? Lastly, before you compare you need to know about development and what informs development. There is no miracle to development and it can’t be achieved overnight or in 4 years. But if you genuinely start like Deng Xiapoing started in China in 1978 you will get somewhere China is today. That same process is what President Tinubu started in 2023. So if the intention of your misinformation and propaganda is to attack Tinubu’s administration then either you don’t know our history and development process or you’re totally being dishonest. Always give accurate and comprehensive information. We are in Information Age.

These Portuguese players were not playing for Ronaldo in the wc . I don’t want o believe they are collectively bad as a team Most of them have their own agenda. Look at how the argentine players will always put their body and soul on the line when it’s time to play for Messi

🚨 Luis Figo on Portugal immediately giving Cristiano Ronaldo’s No.7 to Rafael Leao following his departure: “I remember Cristiano’s first years with Portugal. One day after training, some of the older players were talking and Cristiano was still outside doing something with the ball. I looked over and said, ‘Does this boy ever go inside?’ Someone said, ‘Leave him. He wants to become the best player in the world.’ I laughed. Cristiano heard us. He came over and said, ‘Not just the best. I want to do something for Portugal that people remember.’ I told him, ‘Then you’re going to suffer.’ He looked confused. I said, ‘Playing for your country is different. When things are good, everybody belongs to you. When things are bad, you still have to come back. That’s the deal.’ He said, ‘I’ll always come back.’ I thought about that conversation today. Because more than twenty years later, Cristiano finally left a Portugal camp, and his number given to Rafael instantly. And instead of immediately asking why the boy who told us he’d always come back finally decided to walk away, everybody seems in a hurry to show how quickly football can continue without him. That worries me. Not because Portugal cannot continue without Cristiano. Of course it can. I worry about the 12-year-old Portuguese boy watching. Maybe Cristiano is the reason he started playing football. Maybe number seven is on the back of every Portugal shirt he’s ever owned. One day that boy might become the next star. He might become somebody we haven’t heard of yet. And when he arrives at the national team, we’ll tell him exactly what we told Cristiano. ‘This shirt is different.’ Sacrifice for it. Play hurt for it. Come whenever you’re called. Put the country before yourself. But children aren’t stupid. Footballers aren’t either. Eventually one of them will ask the question nobody wants to hear: ‘What happens when I’ve given Portugal everything?’ That’s why how you treat Cristiano at the end matters. I remember another conversation with him years later. By then he wasn’t the skinny boy anymore. He was captain. I joked, ‘You said you’d do something Portugal would remember. I think they’ve noticed now.’ He laughed and said, ‘I’m not finished.’ That became Cristiano’s relationship with Portugal. Never finished. Lose a tournament, come back. Get criticised, come back. Get older, come back. People tell you the next generation is ready, come back. Until eventually, something happened and he didn’t come back. He packed his things and left. Then he told the Portuguese people that one day he would explain ‘the truth.’ I don’t know what happened inside those conversations, so I’m not going to invent it. But if a relationship lasting more than twenty years ends like that, the federation shouldn’t only be thinking about the player who walked out of the building. They should be thinking about the boys watching him walk out. Because one day Portugal will ask one of them for everything too. And when that day comes, you don’t want him remembering Cristiano Ronaldo and thinking: ‘Everything?’ I told Cristiano all those years ago that playing for your country means always coming back. Perhaps there was another part we should have told him. Your country should give you a reason to.”

Optics is so key in Politics that I’m surprised GRV can’t still speak Yoruba til now. You can learn most languages with dedication within a year. Why will you allow the opposition to use a non issue derail you? Get a tutor and get this Yoruba issue out of the way. Such a shame
