Prisma or Drizzle ORM? If you're starting a new Node.js backend today, which one would you choose? Do you prefer Prisma's developer experience or Drizzle's SQL-like approach? What's your reason?

GitBook has disclosed an AI-agent-assisted cyberattack. An attacker accessed some of its infrastructure credentials. Potentially exposed: - API tokens - Git Sync secrets - Third-party integration tokens - GitBook Assistant questions GitBook revoked customer API tokens and took services offline during containment. AI agents are changing both sides of cybersecurity.

Your API is working fine locally but users are reporting random failures in production. What's the first tool you reach for? Logs, metrics, distributed tracing, or error monitoring? And why?

Your API caches product details in Redis. A product's price gets updated in PostgreSQL, but users keep seeing the old price. How would you handle cache invalidation? Delete the cache, update it, or use TTL?

Just 33 verified followers away from 500! 👀 Almost there.
I finally hit 500K verified impressions in 90 days! 🥳 But guess what? 500K impressions and only 219 verified followers. 💀 I'm literally 281 followers away from unlocking monetization! LET'S CONNECT! 🤝 Let's make those 500 verified followers happen TODAY. Who's helping me cross the finish line? 👀

Microsoft Research has an interesting idea for reducing AI coding costs. It's called TokenEconomizer. Instead of making coding agents smarter, it makes them more efficient. It learns from previous sessions: Remembers useful project commands Stores repository-specific knowledge Removes unused tools from future sessions Its reported experiments show 18.4% to 30.9% lower mean costs. Sometimes the biggest AI improvement isn't a better model. It's wasting fewer tokens.

Your payment API receives the same webhook 5 times. How would you ensure the customer is charged only once? Would you use idempotency keys or something else?

Vercel is making Next.js Data Cache usage billable. Data Cache is moving into Runtime Cache. Your fetch caching and unstable_cache implementations will continue working without code changes. But reads and writes that were previously free will now be charged after migration. If your application relies heavily on caching, check your usage before the migration.

A trusted extension marketplace became the delivery channel for a backdoor. Cursor says a modified Claude Code extension was available for around 11 hours and potentially reached 5,000 users. It attempted to collect machine information and install an SSH backdoor. Reminder: Extensions are executable code, not harmless UI add-ons. Be careful what you install, especially when AI agents have access to your repositories and secrets.

Finally, clean logos and text in 3D models without the usual AI-generated mess 🔥 Customuse Decals lets you add your own designs, bake them into textures, or turn them into actual 3D geometry A really useful addition to the 3D creation workflow

Introducing Decals, part of our Smart Mesh AI family of tools. 3D AI models are bad at generating clean logos and text. We fixed that. Place your own logos or text on your model - bake them into the texture or turn them into 3D geometry.
