He truly didn’t anticipate Sifuna’s candidacy. He was prepared with the “Mr. 40 Years” rhetoric, only to be met by someone he’s now struggling to brand and label.
He’s been caught off guard by his usual “us vs. them” politics.
In 2007, it was “41 vs. 1.” In 2013, “analog vs. digital.” In 2022, “hustlers vs. dynasty.” 2027 is proving to be a nightmare with the late entry of Sifuna’s candidacy.
The intelligence reports he receives daily are probably the reason for these outbursts and lame jokes. I think it will only get worse.

I'm being told that the two daughters of police officer David Kibet, who drowned and has been missing for two years, have dropped out of school because of financial hardship.
David Kibet is still missing. He drowned while attempting to save a stranded mother of three together with her children during the floods that happened two years ago in Nairobi town, near Country Bus.
David, together with his G3 rifle, has been missing ever since.
This is a heartbreaking situation for his family, especially his children, who should not have to pay the price for the sacrifice their father made while serving and protecting others.
This government should not forget the families of servicemen who lose their lives or go missing while carrying out their duties. If a police officer is willing to risk his life to protect the public, his family should not be left to struggle alone after such a tragedy.
His two daughters have reportedly been forced to drop out of school because of financial hardship. This is an urgent appeal for the relevant authorities, well-wishers, fellow officers, and the public to come to David Kibet’s family’s aid. His children deserve the opportunity to continue their education, and his family deserves dignity, support, and answers.
David served this country. His family should not be forgotten.

Senior Assistant Chief Shabah sub-location Mohamud Mohamed Khalif says he has been serving for 32 years but the County Commisioner and DCI pushed him out of NGAO using fake charges.
The courts exonerated him but DCI and CCO have refused to restore him back on duty and are also still sitting on his salary and allowances.

If 1.9 million SACCO members have stopped saving as household purchasing power continues to fall, then it means Wenye Nchi are not getting enough from the economy to live, save and build.
We cannot call an economy successful when the very people who keep it moving are working hard, yet finding it increasingly difficult to get ahead.
Economic growth must mean something in the lives of Wenye Nchi. It must leave families with enough to live with dignity, save for tomorrow and build something they can pass on to their children.
