Repeating again.. For Kothrude Uncles, Bhandarkar road elites, Prabhat Road cityzens and everyone in between , the "outsiders" aren't Odiyas, Biharis, up walas, Dilli ka laundas, Punjabis etc.. the "outsiders" are Marathi folks from Marathwada, Warhad, Konkan, Paschim Maharashtra etc. The snobbishness, casual smugness is for us.
If/when they know you are from different state, or start speaking in hendi with them they'll fold up, will show respect, start acting civil in no time.
Funnily enough they'll send their kids and relatives overseas for the almost same reasons ( education, jobs, better life, careers) and will mock us, hate us, ridicule us for being here..

In some update, my name is out from voters list in my constituency. I have been asked to do bunch of things for verification purposes *coughs coughs* and meet this and that person.
There are atleast 6 ppl from my booth who don't vote for the party and have their names out.

A shocking incident was reported from Pune’s Kothrud area where a father allegedly threw toilet cleaning acid on his 30-year-old son following a dispute over money. The victim, identified as Tushar Shyam Kadam, suffered serious injuries to his face and eyes and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
According to police, the incident took place on May 14 at their residence in Kelewadi while Tushar was sleeping. Following the attack, the accused father fled from the spot. Kothrud Police Station has registered a case and launched a search operation to trace the accused.

A 53 yr old security guard working at Sinhagad College died by suicide after making a video because he wasn't paid for 42 months salary by the institution.
The teachers and staff are unpaid for months. Numerous times there were complaints made to the Govt.
The police have registered complaints and the process will follow for years. If you think the bjp govt will do something about it, you have high expectations or lying to yourself about it.
