Piers Morgan: What was it you were smirking about? Moser: I was actually laughing... A recently founded settler colony, Israel, which was founded in living memory... ranting at an Iranian, saying that his country is fake, Iran, one of the most ancient countries in the world.

When my husband died, because he was so famous and known for not being a believer, many people would come up to me-it still sometimes happens-and ask me if Carl changed at the end and converted to a belief in an afterlife. They also frequently ask me if I think I will see him again. Carl faced his death with unflagging courage and never sought refuge in illusions. The tragedy was that we knew we would never see each other again. I don't ever expect to be reunited with Carl. But, the great thing is that when we were together, for nearly twenty years, we lived with a vivid appreciation of how brief and precious life is. We never trivialized the meaning of death by pretending it was anything other than a final parting. Every single moment that we were alive and we were together was miraculous, not miraculous in the sense of inexplicable or supernatural. We knew we were beneficiaries of chance. . . . That pure chance could be so generous and so kind. . . . That we could find each other, as Carl wrote so beautifully in Cosmos, you know, in the vastness of space and the immensity of time. . . . That we could be together for twenty years. That is something which sustains me and it’s much more meaningful. . . . The way he treated me and the way I treated him, the way we took care of each other and our family, while he lived. That is so much more important than the idea I will see him someday. I don't think I'll ever see Carl again. But I saw him. We saw each other. We found each other in the cosmos, and that was wonderful. - Ann Druyan

⭕️ Pulitzer Prize winner Benjamin Moser: “The more I studied Zionism, the more I spent time there, the more I realized that every inch of Israel is Palestine. It was always Palestine. Jews were never not allowed to live there as equal citizens, as they are in Britain or any other Western country. But the establishment of this state really did mean this massive ethnic cleansing that was not just a one-off.”

“I no longer feel proud to be Israeli… We are occupiers, yes… wait, i thought we were on commercial break!” Amazing — Israeli actress Chelli Goldenberg accidentally tells the truth when she doesn’t realize she’s live on the air. (H/T @MintPressNews) More: israelnationalnews.com/news/…

Michael Pollan reveals how the introduction of caffeine completely changed human history and consciousness. "Before caffeine, it was a very different world and a very different consciousness. People were drunk a lot of the time, buzzed almost all of the time because it was safer than water" "Water was really how you got diseases. If you fermented things, even low alcohol, it killed a lot of the microbes. So people, even kids, drank hard cider for breakfast" "Tea, chocolate, and coffee all arrive in the same decade in England, and things start to change... no one ate or drank boiling water or hot beverages before" "Boiling it made it much safer. This gave this incredible public health boost to these places, and then you have the drug that fosters a kind of more linear, rational, focused way of thinking" "People in the 1600s started writing about it saying, 'Wow, we have this new civil and sober drink that we can use.' And that, I think, makes possible things like the Industrial Revolution"
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The clip repeats the myth that pre-caffeine people were mostly drunk because water was unsafe. Historians and medieval sources show water was commonly drunk from wells/springs while weak ale provided nutrition/calories, not a substitute for bad water. leslefts.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-gr… slate.com/human-interest… fakehistoryhunter.net/2026/02/02/dri…

“The easiest thing for a political leader to do is to appeal to our bigotry and our hatred and xenophobia and prejudice, and point to people who are unlike us and say they’re the ones who are damaging our country," Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., August 5, 2016 on Larry King Now. There was a time when I completely agreed with my brother. Today, I am deeply ashamed of him. Arab and Muslim people alike have made extraordinary contributions to the world across literature, science, mathematics, medicine and countless other fields. To name a few, Omar M. Yaghi won the Wolf Prize in Chemistry in 2018 and the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2025. Ahmed Zewail won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1999, and Naguib Mahfouz won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1988. A person’s race, religion, ethnicity or socioeconomic background does not determine their intellect, creativity or capacity to contribute to humanity. My thoughts are with all those hurt by my brother’s false, cruel and derogatory words. nytimes.com/2026/10/27/us/rf…

I'll give RFK Jr. a 0 for this, using Arabic numerals, or perhaps a "zero," noting that the English word "zero" comes from the Arabic "sifr."
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Novel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

This is a map of voting sites in Jerusalem. As you can see, they are completely absent from most of East Jerusalem, where the majority is Palestinian. This is how apartheid works. You give a small and harmless minority of Palestinians the right to vote, take pictures of them and talk about how you have democracy. Then you don't let them into the coalition and make sure only Jews have power.

Fun fact: 400,000 native Palestinian residents of Jerusalem are defined by Israeli law as neither Palestinian citizens, nor Israeli. As a result, they don't have political representation anywhere and vote nowhere - not even in the fake occupation instrument called 'the Palestinian Authority'. With the knowledge, blessing and approval of almost every country in the world, and every international institution, on top of every other atrocity and crime against humanity documented, Israel holds 400,000 people under full ,formal denial of every political right given to any other human being on this planet. No vote. No parliament. No representation. Transparent subjects.

The Jews are the only extant indigenous people of the land of Israel. The people who colonised it were Romans, Christians, Arabs and Muslims. Zionism is the ultimate decolonisation movement. The genocidal child-murderers are Hamas-led Palestinian Arabs and the Iranian regime. Get something above your own neck other than ignorance and knuckle-dragging bigotry.
