They would double down and say they were right to do so bc it was bc of them and “putting pressure on the refs” that they got what they wanted. It’s the same pattern with them every time.

Remember guys if you’re black and didn’t attend 1 of 2 SEC schools you’re not black enough and if you attended the most successful WBB program ever you’re white washed those are the rules. You only get your black card back if you happen to be on the same W team where one of those SEC schools alums is the star player!

Meanwhile, our GM is a whole Black woman. Look at what she’s built! An organization that made the playoffs in its FIRST year and the Finals in its SECOND. SHE DID THAT. A BLACK WOMAN. Shoutout to Ohemaa Nyanin 💜⚔️✨

He said that GS is “colorist” and “antiblack” all because they won Game 4 and 5. It’s just funny at this point

If the refs blatantly skew it so dream get EVEN MORE calls today, it only reinforces that complaining to the refs is the way to go, and idk if that’s good for the league or kids looking into this league.

"[Joe Lacob] was like, 'okay the goal is going to be 5 years. You gotta bring home a championship.'" Natalie Nakase tells FOS how the Valkyries owner set a five-year championship deadline in her job interview. She's now one win away from hitting it in year two.

UNGROW THE GAME. The fan fiction I’ve read on the TL in the last 48 hours is nasty. The bully to victim switch up has been insane to watch in real time Stan culture have ruined this game & will continue to do so

Aside from Gabby Williams’ hosting barbecues at her house for the team, the Valkyries visiting Veronica Burton’s family home in Boston was also mentioned a lot. Kaila Charles and Tip Hayes read each others’ minds when I asked for theirs. clutchpoints.com/wnba/golden…

I asked all the Valkyries today what memories come to mind when they reflect and think back to what it took to get to this point as a team. Lotta mentions of Gabby Williams’ barbecues. Story to follow later today.
