We're hiring at the National Design Studio!
Yesterday we launched America.gov, the first step toward replacing thousands of outdated government websites with one product. You can ask it anything and get an answer from a verified government source.
But this is just the start. Next, we're building features that let you renew your passport, enroll in Medicare, and book a campsite at a national park, and so much more, all in one place.
We're looking for great engineers and designers to help build it. If that sounds like you, my DMs are open
What else should we add to this list? Comment any ideas
coming to AMERICA.GOV in 2027: passports, name changes, campgrounds, medication costs, and more
what else should we add to the list?

It’s amazing to see the response to America.gov. The credit starts with @elonmusk. Thank you Elon for opening the door for tech to take greater interest in gov. You took a lot of arrows doing it. Wouldn’t be here without you.
Thank you President Trump @POTUS for your genius initiatives like this to fix things for everyday Americans, and @SusieWiles47 for supporting this effort since before the Executive Order 14338 last year.
Thank you Ed Coristine @as400495, Peter Arnell @arnelldesign and the entire team at National Design Studio. I admire your ingenuity, perseverance, and commitment to excellence you have shown shipping this historic new platform.
Thank you to Ed Forst @USGSA_Ed and the teams at GSA for partnering in such a profound way.
Thank you Cabinet members and your agencies who believe in making our nation a leader in the citizen experience.
With the platform established, now the work begins to radically upgrade the experience of living in America.

Chief Design Officer @jgebbia officially unveils America.gov, the new online home for the United States of America
America.gov has consolidated 29,000 outdated websites into a single source of truth to interface with the government.
Congrats to @adambhaloo, @caelin_sutch, @tylertaewook, @ahmadaccino, @dietguacc and the rest of the @ndstudio on the launch

40 million people a day rely on federal websites that often feel stuck in 1998. America.gov fixes that.
Congrats to @jgebbia, @as400495, @adambhaloo, and the entire @ndstudio team on a special launch yesterday! 🇺🇸

One year ago yesterday, @jgebbia and @as400495 convinced me to make the crazy decision to leave private sector and move from Brooklyn to Washington DC to join @ndstudio as the first externally hired engineer. We didn’t have an office yet, just a broad directive to rethink how Americans interact with their government.
A year later, that work has come together in America.gov: one place to ask questions in plain English and find your way to the government services you need.
It’s been an honor to help build this alongside a team that cares deeply about getting the details right and excited for where we'll be in one more year.
Congratulations, @jgebbia!

We put Easter eggs all over America.gov
Enjoy finding them!
The @ndstudio team is growing fast!
We're rebuilding the government services millions of Americans rely on every day, alongside some of the best product minds and engineers in the industry, like @jgebbia.
If this sounds exciting to you, DM me directly.
I’ve joined the National Design Studio 🇺🇸
The technological miracle that is "AI" was only made possible because of the freedoms and excellence that America protects. It's a great honor of mine to be able to give back to the country I love.
I’ll be spending time with the @ndstudio, where I'll help the team build beautiful and modern federal software like america.gov. While not serving at NDS, I will continue my work at Cognition.
We've suddenly found ourselves with a Super Intelligence that can invent dreams.
It can heal the sick. It can drive a car. And it will define the next decade of American progress.
Today just felt too consequential to stay away.
At Cognition, @ScottWu often talks about how AI will make everything from the DMV to your child's elementary school website work as beautiful and smoothly as Instagram. This is exactly the mission of NDS, and it's why I'm so excited to join.

This is the most cracked team of Patriots to exist. Incredible execution by the entire @ndstudio team. 🇺🇸
29,000 federal websites. 40,000,000 visits a day. Now one point of access.
Everything you need from the federal government, in one place: America.gov.
Powered by SI that keeps none of your conversations, with your personal details stripped out on your own device before it ever sees them.

Today, we announced we’re redesigning the U.S. passport.
Building a better online application wasn't enough, because the experience doesn't end on a screen; it ends when your passport lands in your hands.
So we went further and redesigned the booklet itself. Every page inside has been reimagined around a new eagle motif, and we even rethought the packaging, creating a box you'll want to keep next to all your cool Apple boxes for a lifetime. Coming in 2028.
RT @yatshitcray: Congratulations to the entire America.gov team! 🇺🇸
Got to see firsthand the long nights, weekends, and care…
