The first manufacturable molecular qubit, published in Nature ⚛️
@NVisionQuantum's qubits go on photonic chips as thin films, scaling through existing foundries. Plus a first US chip deal with HyperLight.
Well done Sella Brosh, Ilai Schwartz and the whole team!

Nearly nine years ago, @TJParker and I went to Bentonville to talk to @Walmart about building a different kind of pharmacy.
While we were there, we visited The Walmart Museum. If you haven’t been, go! I loved seeing the history of a company that started with a single store and changed what people everywhere could buy and afford. We were building PillPack at the time, and spent much of that trip talking about what healthcare could learn from retail.
Today we’re launching the new Walmart Better Care Services, a healthcare store powered by General Medicine. Starting today, customers can browse more than 900 products and services across a dozen different provider groups, compare cash and estimated insurance prices, and get what they need. Walmart defined the experience, chose the products, services, and providers. Our technology makes it all shoppable.
A lot has happened since that first trip. We sold PillPack, built Amazon Pharmacy, and started @GeneralMedicine. We’ve spent most of our working lives trying to make getting healthcare easier. And somehow it still feels like we’re just getting started.
We have incredible clinicians and treatments in this country. But finding the right care, figuring out what something costs, and actually getting it remains convoluted and complicated. Something that should have been a quick purchase becomes a project. Too often, people just put it off altogether. And when the problem is serious, all that hassle lands on top of what’s already hard. When transactions are easy, you take a whole layer of complexity off the table.
We launched General Medicine a year and a half ago. A few weeks ago, we wrote about the idea behind it: healthcare needs a store. Helping Walmart build one for its customers is that idea reaching the scale we’ve been aiming at since PillPack.
I love that we have our own store. We get to build things we’ve wanted to exist for years, hear directly from customers, and keep making them better. But I’m just as excited about helping other companies build theirs. We learned at PillPack how much more you can do when you work with companies that already serve millions of customers. Tech platforms, retailers, health systems, payers, and manufacturers all bring something different. There’s a lot more we can do together than any of us could do on our own. With Walmart, we get to work with a retailer and pharmacy that’s part of everyday life all across the country.
This one is particularly special to me. We walked into Bentonville nine years ago hoping to build something together. It took a little longer than we expected, but here we are.
Build the store. Then build more stores.
In 2018-2020 we (@EntreeCapitalVC) developed a deep thesis on Quantum Computing that would be realized over the next 10 years or so:
- National government programs and a sovereign race to Quantum would occur, fueling investment and innovation.
- Hybrid classical-quantum systems and software/tools would matter earlier than full fault-tolerant machines.
- Public markets would eventually open for pure-play quantum companies.
- Error correction, and room temperature challenges would be solved.
- 'Enterprise mass' commercialization would occur by 2030.
- In 2023 re added that Quantum Computing would take 10%-20% of frontier model/ LLM workloads by 2030 including some inference workloads.
We took a portfolio approach making ~2 seed/pre-seed investments per fund since then, and today have a portfolio of 8 companies in the space including : @nvision, @ClassiqTech, Quantum Transistors, Quantum Art, Quantum Pulse, and Qryptonite.
Quantum is real, its happening, and it will help solve meaningful bottlenecks in AI and other applications.

Congrats @GeneralMedicine! 🎉 $120M Series B
Healthcare is easy to research and hard to buy. General Medicine is a store for care: 2,900+ meds, labs, telehealth and visits, with prices upfront, insured or not.
Well done @ashwinkmurali, @elliotcohen, @tjparker and the entire team!
Three years on from 7 October, the analogy that fits is 1942: the moment the Allies began to turn the military tide, while the machinery of extermination of the Jews began running at full speed. Churchill’s word echo : “Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
The war is long and multi-front. We mourn the hostages, soldiers, and civilians, and account for the ordinary life interrupted. Israel has shown its capacity to fight, recover, and build. Our resilience stands heads and shoulders above all else, and an example for all other nations.
7 October was the opening shot in the war for western civilization. Cultures that treat open borders, selective outrage, and institutional capture as cost-free will find their inheritance reduced to a footnote.
The war we are all in (do not mistake it for anything else) is a distributed campaign over many years by radical islamist movements such as the muslim brotherhood, and their state backers (Turkey, Iran, Qatar…), aimed at Jews first and at western societies. From the massacres of 7 October to the assaults, intimidation, riots and political and civil takeover of London, Paris, Barcelona, São Paulo, Sydney and beyond, the pattern is the same. The UN built to advance peace is inverted to shield the aggressor and indict the defender. Its time to stand up and take action before its too late.
My words from the 7th apply today as it did that day : “We are here to stay and prosper. We hope to do so peacefully with our neighbors. And for now, we fight.”

This is bad, but it could have been much worse.
Imagine your agent leaking sensitive internal data to a client or business partner.
That’s why security is such a big deal at Catch. AI agents that are both useful *and* safe.
⚕️Congrats to the @GeneralMedicine team on the continued success with the new $120m Series B. Glad to be part of this disruptive success story in the making @EntreeCapitalVC 👏💪
General Medicine has raised $120M in Series B financing led by @a16z.
We’re building the healthcare store: a place where customers can search, compare, and buy care, see prices before deciding, and get guidance from a licensed clinician.
Today, the store includes more than 2,900 products and services across medications, labs, telehealth, specialist e-consults, and select in-person visits and procedures. This funding will help us expand the store into more categories of care for customers nationwide.
Come shop for your healthcare: generalmedicine.co

You may know subagents as a way to maintain an efficient, modular context, fan out concurrent work, etc. But they could also be a powerful tool in keeping minimal trust boundaries when building agents that communicate externally.
