Once upon a time, using a credit card was a big deal. When the big charge card machine came out, you knew that person was something else.
Throw up a hand if you remember when using your credit card required someone to pull out this thing and CHA CHUNK you.

The world wins thanks to UWaterloo grads We should do everything we can to incentivize them to stay
every time i see a cracked demo, i click the profile and it’s someone from waterloo canada could win BIG just by keeping that talent from getting poached by our neighbours to the south

Reminder: you can make things and use them to make money. This little hardware box takes an SDI feed and encodes into SRT. It performed like an absolute champ on a recent gig.

This is awesome. And we need to do MORE of this to grow Canada's economy. We need to be investing into energy, AI, domestic manufacturing... Let's go. We have a country to build.
We're proud to announce the initial close of our Series E, targeting up to CAD $7 billion at a CAD $35.7 billion valuation; marking the largest private financing round in Canadian startup history.

So every Canadian maker who needs boards is going to buy from Will, right?
My first truly industrial piece of equipment, a huge upgrade to the Reil Industrial production capacity! This is the Neoden IN6 reflow oven, with a conveyor belt and multiple convection heating zones. Thank you to everyone who ordered a PCB, this is possible thanks to you!

Canadian entrepreneurs finally saying the quiet part out loud AND being heard. Canada's business environment is too conservative and takes zero risks.
i started my first company in canada, and tried to raise a seed round investors complained that a $1M valuation was "insane" and laughed me out of the room the business climate is extremely risk averse and i honestly think all ambitious people should just move to the US

PCBs made in America. Twice as fast as Shenzhen. Today @CircuitHub is unveiling The Grid, our factory-scale robot in Massachusetts that builds circuit boards on demand. No changeovers, no per-design setup. Prototypes and production batches, fully automated.

Everyone of a certain age now feel old.
How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer? Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours. So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

My X feed is now hardware manufacturing and the most optimistic AI people around. Loving every second. Keep on building, you beautiful people.

I live near a data center. I wish there were more of them. We've been surrounded by data centers for a while. They're not noisy outside. This phase feels like the Final Boss of NIMBY.
BREAKING: Amazon has scrapped a plan to build data centers in Northern Virginia after widespread opposition to the project from residents, per WaPo

What do we need to do to scale this up? Dude is manufacturing hardware boards in canada. We need MORE OF THIS. (Also that lab is giving me serious envy and I love it.)
Going to try and speed assemble a few PCBs before guests come over

You can just build hardware and use it to run shows.

I don't know what this late 90's art style is, but it needs to make a comeback.
