PCBs made in America. Twice as fast as Shenzhen. Today @CircuitHub is unveiling The Grid, our factory-scale robot in Massachusetts that builds circuit boards on demand. No changeovers, no per-design setup. Prototypes and production batches, fully automated.

Demand is already far ahead of what we can build. This year we will 5x capacity, with another big jump coming in 2027.

Filming with the @storyandscience team today. Can't wait to show what we've been working on :-)

We’ve been controlling our factory scale robot - The Grid - like this for the past few months. Insane productivity improvement.
Today, we're kicking off the first phase of the research preview for Model Hardware Standard (MHS): a new standard for AI agents to safely operate physical equipment in scientific research and advanced manufacturing. Read more: anthropic.com/news/model-har…

Our company brain/general purpose agent is hooked up to our factory scale robot. Just witnessed it trawl through OTEL for failure cases, index into witness camera footage, grab 3D CAD data matched up to video data and diagnose a robotics problem. Give us a 10M token context window and we'll have factories building factories in no time.

How to control a factory with AI in 2 easy steps: 1. Spend 10 years making every machine, process, and system programmable via API. 2. Spend 10 days wrapping it in agents.

1/ @proximafusion just raised €411M, valued at over €2.4B - Europe’s best-funded and most valuable fusion company. Plural is the earliest and largest investor and we are deeply motivated by this mission.

Pulled the KLOC stats on the @CircuitHub codebase and you can see exactly where the agents kicked in. Still blows my mind. This isn't boilerplate either; ML, vision, operations research, robotic control.

Last week: 16 Series As, $1.3B raised. Most money: Hark $700M at a $6B valuation for full-stack personalized AI, models to hardware, founded by serial unicorn founder Brett Adcock. Most interesting: @CircuitHub $28M from Plural for on-demand software-defined electronics manufacturing. Redefining picks-and-shovels for the hardware boom. Most surprising: Eisen raised $10M to help banks manage dormant accounts. Escheatment software isn't exactly the hot category of 2026. Full details 👇

It is going to be a real joy watching other companies try to catch @seddonandrew and the @CircuitHub team. They've taken 14 years of experience and channeled it into building the electronics fab of the future. Moats in manufacturing are built on a lot of things: technology, process, knowledge, customer trust...This team has all of that and more. Congrats on the round!

A company that has come out of Cambridge has become the fastest-growing electronics manufacturer in the US. It's aiming to onshore electronics manufacturing in the West, and is leveraging AI and robotics to do so. The company has built an automated electronics manufacturing system that turns design files into printed, production-ready circuit boards in days. Today it has raised $28m from @pluralplatform to build more sites across Europe and the US. Amazing news - congrats to @seddonandrew and the @CircuitHub team

This is a massively exciting company: the world's most advanced PCBA factory - 2M+ boards shipped, 133M+ parts placed, 20,000 engineers served so far. Very excited @pluralplatform is backing @seddonandrew and CircuitHub!
Physical, not purely digital products are solving some of society's biggest problems. And printed circuit boards (PCBs) are vital for building pretty much every bit of electronics-driven hardware you can imagine. That's a supply chain that has drifted away from most Western countries...
