No changeovers, no per-design setup. Prototypes and production batches, fully automated.

A straightforward imperialist land-grab, in other words. Utterly bewildering that there are, even now, gullible Westerners talking about NATO expansion, poking the bear, US-sponsored coups and the like.
Putin on Ukraine:
The lands lost by Kyiv are not "their territory"; they are historically Russian lands.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Kyiv predates Moscow by centuries, and southern/eastern Ukraine was ruled by the Cossack Hetmanate and Crimean Khanate long before 18th-century Russian Imperial annexation. In 1991, every Ukrainian region voted overwhelmingly for independence, recognized by Russia 1994.

Chinese guy has a better understanding of russia than "russia experts" who have been talking since the 90s

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

I met with Estonian Defense Minister Martin Herem. In practically every meeting with partners, we discuss how to strengthen the protection of Ukraine’s skies. Estonia is actively helping us in this area, and we are grateful for every defense package and for its support for the PURL initiative, which enables us to obtain ballistic missile interceptors.
Today, we discussed possible new contributions and ways to secure additional funding for air defense procurement. The Drone Deal between our countries allows Ukraine to export its arms to Estonia. Estonia gains battle-tested weapons, and Ukraine gains additional funding for its defense. We agreed that our teams will move quickly to put together such an export package.
I am also grateful to Estonia for its steadfast support for Ukraine on our path to joining the EU.

President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
While Ukraine fights for its survival, Putin’s war machine continues to prosecute his terrorist war on civilian populations and innocent Ukrainians are dying every day.
Now, Instead of implementing the tough sanctions Lindsey Graham fought to his last breath to enact, President Trump has announced the United States is lifting sanctions on Russian energy, fueling the Putin’s war machine.
As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia.
America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration.
Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him.
America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. Unwavering. Sacrosanct. Ironclad.
Our support for Ukraine.
Because that’s what defending Western civilisation requires: pressure on the aggressor and support for Ukraine — our bulwark against barbarism.
The outcome of this war will determine not only Ukraine’s freedom, but the future of freedom across Europe.

Total chaos in Russian cities after Ukraine's strikes on just two Yandex data centers wipes out GPS, payment systems, taxi apps and the largest websites, across the country.
Russia's centralized North Korean style internet is the country's weakness, the inability to relocate loads to neighboring nations, as Ukraine does when data centers were struck.

So many venture investors are used to the last decade of underwriting where the main risk was the ability to capture demand - find pmf, scale sales etc…
For many of the new businesses being funded today demand is no longer the issue - if you can make low cost reliable ballistic missile interceptors or high bandwidth low cost memory then ya obviously you will have insane demand.
The risk moves to supply - ‘can you actually make the thing’ - a question literally no one asked in the era of HRISs & Neobanks - feels like a lot of faces will get ripped off people pricing ‘demand’ for magic beans that will never be delivered.

From 1995 to 2025, Poland's GDP per capita went from $3,700 to $28,400.
Estonia's GDP per capita went from $3,100 to $34,400.
Czechia went from $5,900 to $35,900.
All 3 now have a higher GDP per capita than Greece (which was part of the West during the CW). And they're more or less at the same level of Portugal (also Western during CW).
Poland & Czechia were Soviet satellite states during the CW. In Warsaw Pact. Estonia was literally one of the Soviet Socialist republics.
Despite that, these countries have prospered and thrived since the end of the Cold War.
Stop blaming the "legacy of Communism" or "the West's neoliberalism" for Russia's failures. Russia has failed in recent decades because of Russia. Not because they were Communist in the 20th century and not because the big bad Western powers gave them the "Wrong" economic policy guidance.
Stop infantilizing Russia. It is not a toddler. It has agency.
