Hot off the press! We report a dual role for TREM2 following PNI; both beneficial for axon regeneration and detrimental to motoneuron preservation. Very glad to see the bulk of my dissertation work finally out! @emoryalvarezlab biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

This paper is now published in Cell Reports! Our study investigates how the sugar circuit diverges into different pathways that mediate different behaviors. The revision has a ton of new data and circuit simulations (thanks to the model by @Philip_Shiu!)

Just in time for #cshldros23, we have a new preprint on how sweet taste elicits different behavioral responses. Are different behaviors coordinately regulated? At what point does the sweet-sensing circuit diverge into different behavioral pathways?
