nearly there.
a 4000 word commentary on fabian hürzeler's game model.
— everything, everywhere, all at once.
— multi-rhythmic football.
— bulletproof press? not quite.
— …beating brighton!
he's taught me more than any other coach.
& i don't think he's done yet — link below!
sylla is the best centre-half on @SomerledGroup’s platform btw.
not got round to watching him. glad two of the best eyes on here like him though

Gerónimo Rulli commits to the clues from Lewis Dunk’s approach (straight, steady course) and reaps the rewards.
Top from Jay Lynch - he forces Bruno Guimarães into a reaction, just like Ørjan Nyland did in the World Cup RO16.
Btw, a longer-form written piece on my penalty analysis framework is loading… ✍️
Coming soon 👀 #PenaltyClues
a common automatism of hürzeler’s reign at brighton in the past two seasons (less prominent this year) is for central players to run beyond the backline, only for the wide player to go against the momentum and play the ball in the space created centrally.
seen it a lot today.

Maybe he didn’t but it’s just the way i saw it, feel like it was just him tryna leave some afters on Downman that’s all. I don’t have too much of an issue with the tackle or the reaction wouldn’t have been a card for me but i get it
practice what you preach!
football-fluent data analysis is possible.

Ethan Kena Kabeya 🇨🇩/🇫🇷has been interesting. Worth a watch.
harry kane’s ballon d’or win & lewis hamilton’s win at barcelona have been the two best sporting moments of the year for me.
english excellence — their inspiration knows no bounds.
