Time heals all wounds is a misnomer. Without addressing the root cause of the wound, time just creates more opportunities for the wounds to fester, injury to become cyclical, and the inflictor of pain to get worse. #ToughSkinSoftHeart

So grateful for Senator Stabenow’s leadership on climate change and for highlighting the work of the @CityGrandRapids.
Grand Rapids is taking the kind of collaborative, bold action we need to help solve the climate crisis. The city is committed to powering ALL municipal operations with 100% renewable energy by 2025. Think about that!

Over the last 30 days, more than 10 inches of rain has fallen across a wide swath of the Plains and Mississippi Valley. Some areas of Kansas, Oklahoma, and southwest Missouri have seen over 20 inches of rain, which equates to 400-600% above normal. More rain is in the forecast.

Men—when you introduce your employee who's a woman and say, "She does all the work"/"runs things"/"keeps us all sane"/etc.: 1-You are not paying her enough. 2-You haven't given her the title or team she deserves. 3-Talking about her contributions doesn't make up for 1 and 2.
