This is an old video, but his mathematic equations was steroids plus working out equals power, fly outs turned to home runs, singles turned to doubles. He struck out less because he was able to move the bat faster. It doesn't help with the exact hand eye, but it helps get there.

Roids directly affect fast twitch muscles which helps you hit 95+ fast balls at 40. Normal muscles don’t react as fast at that age regardless of your instincts or hand eye coordination which Bonds was elite at. No amount of explanation or excuses makes up for the roids advantage

Roids aside that’s an absolutely brilliant mindset for a hitter. Hard to separate how much the juice aided his power but regardless he is one of the greats ever.

Frank Thomas and Ken Griffey Jr were better hitters! But when Bonds started juicing all of a sudden he was a better hitter than both?! Neither of those guys cheated Thomas was one of the very few who while it was happening in the 90's tried to tell the media all the time it was going on! But the media didn't want to hear it or care!
