You don't follow us for AEO tips. But you're about to get 12 of them!
@amanhimself runs our docs and he's very good at it. This year that meant making docs accessible to agents. Here are 12 things he did to make our docs agent friendly โ

A good agentic workflow for mobile is not โAI wrote some screens.โ
It should be a loop: a signal hits, an agent changes the app, verifies on a device or cloud simulator, then uses release infra to build, update, or submit, with proof attached for a human to approve.
On Expo that loop runs on shared building blocks (SDK, Skills/MCP, EAS Build, Workflows, Simulators, Update, Submit, Observe). WIth Expo you get the blocks and the defaults, but we don't lock you in. Using everything together is powerful but we know everyone's environment/use case is different. If you only need our cloud simulators or our OTA Update service you can just take those off the shelf.

I've wanted this API for years. Turns out that's what agents want too ๐ค
Expo Modules 2.0 ๐
โ a module is just an annotated Swift class
โ agents write it with almost nothing in context
โ up to 14.5ร faster calls than SDK 55
Early look, iOS first ๐

If AI can't see your docs, DO THEY EVEN EXIST!?
Our documentation wizard @amanhimself put together 12 tips on how to make sure your documentation is agentic-approved โ

๐งช Experimenting building a foldable UI with @expo , Astra, and Material 3 for Android.
A local Kotlin module wraps Material 3โs adaptive layout, exposed through the Expo Modules API.
React serves the data layer and Expo UI renders native Compose components.

Rendering oversized images is a sure-fire way to tank your app's performance in production ๐
Easy to cause, hard to spot.
With expo-image you can now report these issues to Observe with one line of config: docs.expo.dev/eas/observe/inโฆ

In the meantime, you can use blur filter modifier from Expo UI. gist.github.com/intergalactiโฆ
You can install Observe in one command:
๐๐๐ก ๐๐ก๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐-๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
...or ask an agent to do it.
Either way it's only going to take a few seconds.

๐ฅณ Our Observability service is GA today!
It's super quick to set up, you'll feel the value fast, and it's free to start.
The core question Observe answers is: How is your app actually performing in production?
Obviously it looks great on your phone...but what does it look like on older phones and less optimal network conditions?
More details on the metrics you get out of the box below โ
