U.S. Senators do not have to undergo a formal executive-branch security clearance background check to receive classified briefings
They do not undergo a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency investigation, or receive a formal clearance
So they get to see classified information just because they won a seat in the Senate?
Am I the only one that has an issue with that?
