I woke up this morning, opened the curtains, and looked out at this city I've called home for over 20 years. It's quiet. The sun is rising. The birds are back. And the knot in my stomach from this weekend is slowly loosening. Like millions of residents across the UAE, this was a weekend none of us expected to live through — not here. Not in the place we chose precisely because it was safe. But here's what I need to say this morning: the bubble didn't break. Over 165 ballistic missiles. 540+ drones. A 96% interception rate. Our armed forces — and the leadership that built those defenses over decades — held the line. While debris fell and fires were extinguished, the shield protecting this nation held. That is not luck. That is preparation. That is leadership. I know what the alternative looks like. I've lived it. I was seven years old in Tehran when Iraq attacked Iran. The first bomb fell two kilometers from our house in northern Tehran. I still remember the sound — not the explosion itself, but the ice cracking and glass shattering in every window around me. That moment ended my childhood. Soon after, my father made the decision millions of parents in war zones must make: he took our family and we left for the United States. The rest is history. This weekend brought those memories flooding back. But with a difference. Now I'm the father. I have my own child. And I finally understand the weight my father carried — the instinct to protect, the calculation of risk, the refusal to let fear win. So here's what we do today. We get up. We open our businesses. We show up for our teams. We serve our clients. We move forward. Not because danger has passed — the world remains unstable — but because resilience is not the absence of fear. It is the decision to act despite it. This weekend made us better planners. More resilient operators. Sharper thinkers about continuity and what truly matters. To the leadership of this nation — to HH Sheikh Mohamad Bin Zayed @MohamedBinZayed, HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid @HHShkMohd, HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamad @HamdanMohammed and the UAE Armed Forces @modgovae who stood watch and defended while we sheltered with our families — thank you. You held the line. We saw it. The world saw it. I have built my life here. My family is here. My businesses are here. I've watched this country grow from ambition to reality for two decades. I am not going anywhere. I will stay. I will expand. I will double down. There is no better place on earth to build a life and a legacy than right here. The headlines say Dubai's image is shattered. I say Dubai's character was revealed. We don't run. We rise. #Dubai #UAE #Resilience #Leadership #BusinessContinuity #WeRise

Ban the Muslim Brotherhood. Protect your country, your people, and your kids. Protect your identity before it’s gone. They were kicked out of Muslim countries for a reason. Why are you still going easy on them?

Dubai-it. It means delivering something exceptional with excellence, speed and impact, transforming bold ideas into reality, ambition into achievement, and vision into results the world can see. Inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai’s remarkable development journey, Dubai-it has become a philosophy of action that drives innovation and progress. Today, we launch the Dubai-it Award, an annual recognition of individuals, projects, companies and institutions that embody this approach. The award celebrates achievement while inspiring the next generation of transformative success.

Proud to sign the Pledge & Commitment national initiative. 🇦🇪 After 20+ years in the UAE, this is home. It's where I was given the chance to grow, build, and raise my family — a place where my son says, with pride, that he's from Dubai. Home isn't where your passport is from. It's where you feel you belong, where you feel secure, and where you choose to commit. For me, that's the UAE. We pledge fully to this beautiful country and everything it continues to give us. #PledgeAndCommitment #UAE #Dubai #عهد_ووعد

Yesterday, we had a small issue that required a visit to Al Barsha Police Station. Despite all the fake rumors and unnecessary narratives being spread regarding Iranians in the UAE, my wife, my son, and I were treated with complete respect, dignity, and professionalism by the officers handling the matter. I do know the names of the officers involved, but out of respect for their privacy and professionalism, I am choosing not to mention them publicly. What matters most is the level of integrity, calmness, fairness, and professionalism they demonstrated throughout the entire process. I would like to sincerely thank @DubaiPoliceHQ , the @DubaiGovernment, the @UAEmediaoffice leadership, and His Highness for maintaining one of the safest, most professional, and most respectful environments in the world. Please do not believe the false rumors and propaganda being spread online claiming that the UAE is taking action against Iranians. This is misinformation being pushed by irresponsible actors attempting to create fear, division, and instability. The UAE continues to demonstrate fairness, order, humanity, and professionalism toward residents and visitors from all backgrounds. Our experience firsthand proved exactly that. Thank you again to Dubai Police and the UAE leadership for your professionalism, humanity, and commitment to justice and public safety. We love the UAE and We stand with the UAE forever. 🇦🇪

The credentialed intellectual class is a museum exhibit. They theorize about capitalism from cafés, write essays nobody reads, and recycle the same 1970s grievance into new jargon every decade. Meanwhile entrepreneurs build the actual world at 3AM — the supply chains, the platforms, the capital, the jobs, the future. I'll bet every dollar I have against the theory class. They're dying in their own footnotes while builders invaded their territory, rewrote the rules, and didn't ask permission. The class war they've been threatening for 50 years? We already won it. They just haven't been told. Verdict's in. RIP.

"Born 1982. By age 4, I was already a decorated General in World War 11 — fought alongside Eisenhower's great-grandson against the Roman Numeral Brigade. Lost good men at the Battle of MMXLIV. They told me World War 11 wouldn't happen until at least the 31st century. They were wrong. Now serving in Congress. Currently legislating Title IX, which I'm told covers the first 9 World Wars." - Quote by @Ilhan you are pathetic

Trump's stand against Iran reshuffled the entire Middle East. The UAE just answered by walking out of OPEC and OPEC+ — done with quotas built around someone else's strategy. Bold leadership in Washington. Bold leadership in Abu Dhabi. The board has officially been reset. 🇦🇪🇺🇸 #UAE #OPEC #ADNOC #SovereignUAE #NewMiddleEast

Help me understand the theology here: Step 1: Be a publicly devout Muslim congresswoman Step 2: Marry a non-Muslim man (haram) Step 3: Family fortune built on a winery (haram²) Step 4: Winery valuation jumps from $51K to $30M in one year (miraculous) Step 5: Winery shuts down 9 days after disclosure amendment (also miraculous) Step 6: Lecture Americans about morality Did I miss a step or is this just the new madhab? #IlhanOmar #OmarGate #WineryGate #Hypocrisy #Squad #ImpeachIhanOmar

@facebook Account Review System Is a Black Box — And That’s a Security Risk As a cybersecurity firm operating in one of the most regulated environments globally, we are accustomed to audits, compliance checks, and structured review processes. What we are currently experiencing with Facebook raises serious concerns — not just operationally, but from a governance and security standpoint. My personal FB account has been disabled/restricted, and despite following every prescribed step, there has been zero transparency, no clear feedback loop, and no meaningful response from the platform. Let’s be clear: this is not just a “support issue.” This reflects deeper systemic gaps. From a cybersecurity and compliance perspective, the current process demonstrates: • Lack of transparency — No clear reason codes, no audit trail, no accountability • No escalation framework — Businesses are left without a defined path to resolution • Automation without oversight — Decisions appear driven by opaque algorithms with no human validation layer • Business continuity risk — Platforms of this scale are critical infrastructure for companies, yet offer no SLA-backed support If a regulated financial institution operated this way, it would not pass a basic compliance audit. At scale, this is not just frustrating — it is structurally dangerous. Businesses depend on these platforms for communication, marketing, and revenue generation. When access is removed without explanation or recourse, it creates unnecessary operational and financial risk. As industry professionals, we expect better from a company of this magnitude. Facebook @Meta needs to implement: A transparent review and appeals process Clear communication on enforcement actions Human escalation channels for verified businesses Defined timelines and accountability for resolution This is not about one account. It is about platform responsibility at global scale. We are open to engagement and resolution — but the current silence is not acceptable. @finkd You need to take notice of this post! #CyberSecurity #Compliance #PlatformRisk #DigitalGovernance #BusinessContinuity

Let me clarify — this is about my personal account, not a business account. And that actually makes the situation worse. This account is used strictly for family and friends. No ads, no campaigns, no unusual activity. Standard, low-risk usage. Yet it gets restricted — while my Instagram, under the same ownership and identity, continues operating normally. From a basic systems logic perspective, this makes no sense. • Same user • Same identity signals • Same ecosystem (Meta) • Completely different outcomes That is not enforcement — that is inconsistency. At a minimum, this highlights: • Broken internal alignment across platforms • Unreliable automated decision-making • No clear auditability or user-level transparency If a platform cannot consistently evaluate a simple personal account, it raises serious concerns about how decisions are being made at scale. This is not about inconvenience — it is about trust. Users deserve clarity, consistency, and a defined path to resolution. Right now, none of those exist. Meta needs to address this gap urgently. #PlatformIntegrity #CyberSecurity #DigitalTrust #Meta #Accountability

This is too funny if TRUE! 😀😀😀😀😀
NEW: 🇮🇷🇮🇳 The Indian-flagged oil tanker ‘SANMAR HERALD’, which was fired upon by Iranian gunboats last Sunday, fell victim to a crypto scam Reportedly, the ship was contacted by an Indian man claiming to represent the IRGC Navy. The captain then transfered a large amount of money in USDT, and was ‘granted a right of passage’. When the vessel arrived in the Strait of Hormuz, it got fired upon by the actual IRGC Navy, who had not issued any permission for the ship to pass.

The 1979 architects built a system to survive wars, sanctions, and uprisings. They built it for a world of printing presses and state TV. The internet is the one variable they never modeled — and it's the one finally rewriting the equation. Called it 5 years ago.

10+ days into a “manual review.” Meta has time to scan 20+ years of my data — every post, every comment, every detail — but somehow no time to provide a single clear answer. Interesting how nothing “takes time” when Meta is charging your credit card for ads. That system works perfectly. Instantly. Every time. Support? Accountability? Ownership? That’s where the delay begins. No violations. No political activity. No policy breaches. Just a long-standing, clean account — treated like a risk. At this point, it’s almost impressive: A platform that can monetize at scale, but cannot support at the same level. This isn’t just inefficiency. This is how you lose loyal users. @Meta @finkd — if this is the standard, serious businesses will move on. And they already are. #Meta #MarkZuckerberg #MetaFail #AIFailure #PlatformAccountability #BusinessRisk #DigitalTrust #CustomerExperience #TechAccountability #FixMeta #AdTech #CorporateFailure
