- You: "Why is counterfeiting illegal?"
- Government: "It steals value from everyone holding money."
- You: "By increasing the supply?"
- Government: "Exactly. Each new note dilutes the rest."
- You: "Beautifully explained."
- Government: "Thank you."
- You: "Now explain quantitative easing."
- Government: "...That's different."
- You: "You just explained why it isn't."
- Government: "You're not an economist."

We have more technology.
More automation.
More productivity.
More wealth.
Yet it takes two incomes to afford the life one income used to provide.
Progress for who?

Player or pawn?
In real life you only have three options:
1. Play the freedom game
2. Play the power game
3. Be a pawn in other people’s power games
The Players’ Compass is for those who choose to play.
It is simple and operational:
- Freedom side → Honesty + Cooperation
- Power side → Manipulation (all psychological power) + Coercion (all physical power)
Use it and you suddenly see society, history, and the people around you with new clarity.
The Pawns’ Compass is what most of us carry today.
It used to be a real players’ compass — until the education system, media, politicians and the fiat world broke it and made it useless for navigation.
Now it points to “Rights”, “Safety”, “Justice”, “Order” and “Free stuff”… while the real axis of Freedom versus Power sits there ignored.
Everyone needs to reset the factory settings of their compass.
The main reason power has become so strong and concentrated is simple: power players have had the board almost to themselves for decades.
Without serious counter-play from people who play for freedom, the game of power has mostly been about how to share the spoils.
When enough people reset their compass and start calibrating it by playing actively for freedom, power players will gradually leave the board.
That is how we win freedom back.
There is no other way.
If we don’t understand freedom and power, we cannot win.
Long philosophical definitions won’t help you in-game — you need something more operational and effective, something which the Players’ Compass offers.
Look at the two compasses.
Which one are you using right now?
Test the Players’ Compass on your next interaction with someone IRL or on SoMe, a news story, article, book or TV series.
Then tell me what you see.
Player or pawn?
Your move.

My long time friend @hodlonaut is probably the most high-integrity person I've ever known.
When Faketoshi sued him, he could have surrendered and not have half a decade of his life stolen. Instead he chose to fight, because he knew it was the right thing to do.
Over the last couple of months, he's poured his heart and soul into exposing the corruption and woke-creep in Bicoin Core.
Stuff that my other candidate for highest-integrity-person-I-know, @jonatack, became a whistleblower about back in January.
Btw, neither @hodlonaut nor @jonatack have ever sought fame or even public recognition, afaik.
IMO, every bitcoiner on Earth should at least be interested in what's been revealed in @hodlonaut's articles, which are all based on public information.
What I find so baffling is the number of public bitcoiners outside of Core that are so quick to come to Core's defense and call the articles "slop" and "clickbait."
The way I see it, these people fall into three main categories;
1) people who don't know @hodlonaut
2) people with a vested interest in spam/scam/crypto businesses
3) cowards
I know a lot of people personally that I really hope fall under category 1), because the backlash @hodlonaut is getting from simply trying to expose a handful of uncomfortable truths is truly depressing to see.
DYOR, but don't dismiss others' R as slop before you've done your own!

Replying to @ColorCombos @ForrestHODL
Because if they actually believe their side is correct (and have a eureka moment where they realize that ignoring soft forks doesn't prevent them occurring) then they should come to the table and offer their understanding.
As it stands:
- bitcointalk(.)org is a ghost town
- github posts get marked as spam and insta-nuked
- reddit went from not permitting posts about knots/110 to straight up banning accounts that even hint at it
- "delving bitcoin" deleted the entire thread where @dathon_ohm had some the most involved back n' forth with multiple Core devs since the topic came up
- the mailing list saw nothing by way of push back on the original proposal, and isn't something anyone should ever use (requires asking bryan bishop's approval which is unacceptable given what was revealed about him in the epstein email - not to mention it's just another Core echo chamber so it can end up being a waste of time trying to get anything approved there)
- the 'BIP' repo itself where I will admit @muchandamus did allow conversation to happen and ultimately merge the BIP
Given all that, Murch was the person from the other side who I figured could be the best to speak out against BIP-110, and I commended him on his professionalism re the BIP itself. However after taking some rather cheap shots here and blocking me I presume the agreed upon strategy - again - is ignoring the fork and hoping it goes away having given up on any attempt to formally discredit it.

The majority of your problems are financial.
Those financial problems are primarily caused by the state.
A smaller state will fix a lot of those problems.
You will keep voting for a bigger state.
Your problems will get worse.

Two Europes are emerging.
One is taxing wealth harder. The other is bidding to attract it.
Norway pushes people out. On Friday, Turkey put the most aggressive offer on the table this continent has ever seen: 20 years tax-free on foreign source income for new residents.
