New goal just dropped: get invited to the AFF Writers Conference as a speaker/panelist

I'm staring down the barrel of my 40s and coping by purchasing a pair of dinosaur-print overalls. I lived my thirties almost exclusively in leggings and t-shirts, and it's time I wear something I actually think is fun!! I am going into my 40s giving Peak Quirky Millennial!

Learned to weave today, because obviously what I need is one more hobby

Listen, OBVIOUSLY I'm excited to hang with other screenwriters next week, and I always come away from AFF feeling so creatively inspired but also I cannot wait to eat my weight in breakfast tacos

Why write the play that's been simmering in the back of your mind for at least a year when you could spend that energy applying for programs and fellowships that will help you (and sometimes even PAY YOU) to write that play instead??

Being chronically ill is crazy because what do you mean I just spent the first two and a half hours of my day breathing into bags every 15 minutes so they can check my guts

I’m taking a medical test tomorrow that requires a strict diet today: Eggs, potatoes, rice, beef, pork, chicken, tofu only. Salt and pepper only. Water, black tea, black coffee only. It’s only 11:30am and I’m already annoyed lmao
