Some clips from my fight on brand risk. Happy w my performance, I stuck to the gameplan and listened to my corners. Landed some real good shots, bro’s got a proper chin on him. I think it was my nignt until my eye got injured, definitely sad none of us got to see a 4th round, i didn’t even get to see a 3rd 😂

Surgery was successful thanks to Dr.MAKEPEACE 🫡 he got my eye put back in place and dealt with the tendons being entrapped in the orbital fracture so thats good. Got plates and screws installed right under my eye now, some nerve damage and still having some nasty double vision thats pretty debilitating at the moment. Blessed I didnt lose my eye or go totally blind in it so thats gotta be a good thing 😂 im tryna stay positive i’m sure it can heal but my vision is definitely still cooked rn and its whoopin my ass a bit. i’m seeing the eye specialist tomorrow to get some answers on it 🤞 i took a straight right to the eyeball that instantly gave me triple vision in the fight and stayed until this surgery fixed it so definitely glad i got in there asap. Had to spend a couple of nights in the hospital but they got this surgeon down there on his time off because he’s THE guy for the job. He’s the man for accepting that emergency call. Dr makepeace.. 😂 i cant make this shit up. I’ve had 13 surgeries since 2020 and I was hoping to never need another serious one but here we are on the other side. I wanted to compete boxing instead of mma because i figured the risk of injury was a lot lower in boxing, and with everything I’ve healed from it just wasnt worth the risk for the reward to pursue mma but I had to fight again. I had to push my body to a true 100% after having to learn to walk again. I accomplished that, I never felt so good in my life physically. I really did that shit. I was ok w breaking my nose or jaw or hand in boxing, i just never considered i could lose a fucking eye and be forced to have some serious surgeries. Tough pill to swallow but i’m going to lock in and focus on this recovery at hand and do everything i can to get this eye healed up and functioning normally. They said 6 months, ill get more answers tomorrow. For now all i can do is rest and sleep as much as i can. God has rescued me from rubble so I have zero doubt i’ll be just fine at the end of the day. Life hits hard, but I ALWAYS hit back. I Appreciate every one thats checked on me, I’m totally good other than this eyeball. Prayers are appreciated, we not out of the woods just yet 🙏❤️

These guys are great they got the right surgeon here when he was off the clock to get this emergency taken care of. I’m going under. Surgery starts very soon. See you all on the other side. Prayers appreciated.

🏴‍☠️ just wanted to let everybody know I’m alright. I appreciate the ref doing his job and keeping me safe. I’m sure a lot of people watching thought it was an early stoppage because I was still swinging when it stopped, but fair play I don’t think I was gonna win after my vision was gone. I would’ve just taken more unnecessary damage. Props to @ojrose_ for pulling it off last night, well done capitalizing and jumping on me when I was hurt buddy I would’ve done the same shit to you 😂 I appreciate all the phone calls and messages and any prayers would be great. God has healed me from a lot worse so I have zero doubt I’ll be all right but for now I have to lay low. Stay out of the light and stay off the screens. Can’t wait to watch the fight back. It felt like a good scrap. It’s all love to my opponent and his team. Hopefully, you guys see me back in there as soon as I’m cleared. I was happy with my cardio and I felt good in there. Im a little sad that none of us got to experience the fourth round because the game plan was to go 100 miles an hour in the last round and see who wanted it more.
