3 years ago @Vinteum_org was formed with an ambitions mission: build educational programs and community around bitcoin and its development all around Brazil 🇧🇷
3 years later, we’re a team stronger than ever led by our illustrious leader @lucasdcf, with big initiatives that have made Bitcoin stronger and impacted thousands of lives across the country.
BitDevs, Bitcoin Dev Launchpad, Fellowships, Grants, Workshops and University events, @casavinteum, to name a few of these “projects and programs”.
Brazil Bitcoin scene bleeds @Vinteum_org 🇧🇷❤️✅
I want to specifically thank @xapobankapp for the continued support throughout this journey. We seriously couldn’t have achieved so much if it wasn’t for your incredible philanthropic efforts. Thank you!
Big shout to our sponsors @HRF @btrustteam @OpenSats for their continued support of our mission 👏
This is just the beginning for @Vinteum_org! We have LOTS of plans for the next few months and years. With your support, we will grow beyond Brazil into other areas of LATAM as well.
Check out the in-depth report we’ve out together to learn more about our grantees, fellows, and programs.

If Bitcoin lost 30% of its value since 2020, you wouldn't call that stable.
So why do we call dollar proxy tokens "stablecoins"?
It's objectively false marketing.

Great work by @ProjectLoupe and @L0RINC for finding these bugs!
While they are vulnerabilities, they are low / medium severity and the Bitcoin protocol is resilient.
No loss of funds possible from these issues.
A learning from this is that some of these were found earlier than reported within the Red Team, but the initial findings did not identify the full blast radius so they were not immediately passed along to the security list.
Thank you to all of the Bitcoin Core developers who work hard building on Bitcoin so it can be the best money ever!
🚨 BREAKING: Three new Bitcoin Core vulnerabilities discovered including a bug allowing attackers to remotely brick nodes.
The vulnerabilities include two medium-severity flaws that could allow malicious peers to exhaust node memory and a third that could corrupt blockchain undo data under extreme conditions. @ProjectLoupe, an AI-powered security initiative at @spiral_xyz, independently identified the vulnerabilities alongside other researchers, including @L0RINC of the #Bitcoin Red Team 🟥.
Fixes have been released in Bitcoin Core versions 29.5, 30.4, 31.2, and 32.1, although certain 32-bit and FAT32 configurations remain vulnerable to the third issue.

Killer talk by @andreneves about AI and bitcoin security
Biggest takeaway for best practices is to ask yourself if one of the things in my setup fails will I be okay? Set yourself up with multiple safeguards within your comfortably to mitigate your vulnerability

After four incredible years, Friday is my last day at HRF.
Working alongside activists on the frontlines and seeing firsthand how technology can be used to empower has been a true privilege.
I've met some of the most courageous, brilliant, and kind people in the world.
Eternally grateful to @gladstein and the HRF team for the opportunity and trust.
Has truly been a dream.
The work continues.
