quick update: moving to NYC and joining @fomo to build and lead the VIP program.
as an early user, I’ve watched their rise up close. everything from the people to the brand to the execution has been A+, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the mission.
huge thanks to @seyong @paulerlanger @renyukong and the team for trusting me with this opportunity.
if you trade size onchain, look for me in your DMs 👀
since i’ve been printing some insane PnL on @fomo and dominating the 24h / 7d / 30d leaderboards, holding that #1 spot for days straight.
i figured it’s time to give something back.
decided to bless one random user with $1,000, and the @fomo team is matching it with an extra $500.
$1,500 total. straight back to the trenches.
gotta give back to the community that’s been part of the journey.
gratz @imsatoshi100
only on @fomo.
building a consumer app is hard… really hard.
fomo has always tried to do things the right way. this often means sacrificing growth and revenue in order to do the harder thing.
we’ve never done things to take shortcuts, such as:
- points programs
- paid trading deals
- fake/inflated incentives
we try everything to make sure users get the best experience, whether this means working closely with infra partners or working to build it ourselves. we pay routers commercially to NOT take positive slippage. we work to get rebates for traders. we pay creator rewards to those who provide value.
we do not get everything right. truthfully, no one does.
the entire team looks at every single piece of feedback daily. we commit to continuously learning & always trying our best. we constantly feel like the product is far from perfect and this is likely a feeling that never goes away when ur building a company.
good things take time. great things take a while.
